You'll enter this home through the mud room where you can kick your shoes off and store your gear. The laundry room is located just to the left. The mudroom leads into a fully equipped kitchen which then opens up to the dining and living area with a cozy fire place and wonderful views of the mountains and valley. There is a convenient full bathroom in this living area. The primary bedroom and bathroom suite will be on the first floor to the left. You will find ample closet space and a large en suite bathroom with a large soaking tub and beautifully tiled walk-in shower. Upstairs you will find a large sitting area and smart TV. There is also a desk area for anyone who needs to get some work done. History buffs should take the 20.6-mile drive west to Chimney Rock National Monument, a collection of over 200 ruins from an ancient Pueblo settlement. I accidentally left a bag behind, and the hosts were very responsive and kindly allowed my daughter to return and pick it up since she was in town after I had left. Had a beautiful view of the valley from the front porch. House was very clean and the host was very helpful. Had mule deer, 2 fox every night come on the property. The water was shut off for about 4 hrs on our last day due to city making repairs on main line. The only complaint I have is there was no TV in the living area. The TV was located on the second floor and I’m not able to climb stairs. Overall I’m very pleased with the rental of this house. ##### Kenneth W.
