Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. I could not believe how well stocked the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room were. The welcome basket was a nice treat. The house is gorgeous and the quiet location phenomenal. I brought my wife and 2 boys (4th grade and 7th grade) for their first trip west. This place made the trip extra special. The views, the elk, and the wildlife in general (bring set of binoculars or a spotting scope) surrounding this property are fantastic.
