The gold timber creates a glow accentuated by the peaked ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows. The living room features a large flat-screen TV and a view with ample seating. Just to the right is the dining room that flows forward to the kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped and even boasts an island for convenience and gathering. Through kitchen leads to the laundry room with a washer and dryer. To the left of the living room is a nook with a charming wine credenza just before the master bedroom. The Master Bedroom is a classic mountain modern featuring a king bed and attached master bathroom. The master bathroom not only has a shower, but a jetted tub to relax in. Upstairs opens to a lofted workspace- perfect for working remotely while enjoying a view of Pagosa peak. On the left is the first bedroom featuring a queen bed, twin bed, balcony access, and room for clothing. To the right is a queen-bedroom suite complete with a shower/tub combo. There is another twin bed too! At the very end of the lofted section is a third full bath. The bottom level offers a spacious two-car garage for your convenience and is excellent for winter sports gear storage. It was fairly clean and the furniture was in good condition. The bed in the downstairs bedroom is metal and it is noisy when tossing and turning. It also needed a deeper cleaning. If there are people staying above in the loft area there seems to be little to no insulation in the flooring upstairs so the noises travel on the downstairs bedroom ceiling. Also the downstairs bedroom wall corners are not firmly connected on one side so the light in the living room can be seen into the downstairs bedroom??It was nice in some ways but the cabin needs some attention to detail. The kitchen had everything you could need. The front deck was wonderful! We spent a lot of time enjoying the mountain views. It would have been nice however if there had been a dining table where we could have enjoyed outdoor dining. The area was very quiet and peaceful. Easy access to hiking trails however biking was a bit more difficult as the road is gravel and Hatcher Lake does not have a lot of paved bike trails or bike lanes. We stayed in the upstairs master which was comfortable. It would be a nice addition to have a dresser of some sort to lay out your clothes. There was a card table in the closet that we used. One last thing, do not order anything from Amazon as they do not deliver direct to the house. Packages are delivered to the owner's mail box and you have no access. It was a surprise to us. We needed to deal directly with the post office as the owner had the key out of state. Luckily the Pagosa postal service was very helpful. ##### Linda J. Beds were comfortable and you can’t beat the views of the mountains. I was a little surprised that there was no central air conditioning, but I’m also from Texas. Each room had ceiling fans and separate small fans, so it wasn’t bad at all. Overall, amazing home and far enough away from Pagosa Springs that you don’t deal with traffic or an influx of people around. ##### Lindsey B. The property is located in a quiet cul de sac, with Mountain View’s abundant. There are hiking trails, and water activity just minutes away from the cabin. We are enjoying both. After our hike we went for a soak in the Hot Springs and enjoyed a stroll on the river walk. This is a great location with a short drive to all that the Springs offers. I would recommend this property for its mountain views, location, and accommodations. The cabin was a perfect place to stay while exploring the surrounding areas. We spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful deck and view, spending every moment outdoors. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, bird and deer watching, and reading on the deck. We also enjoyed the pool table! The cabin was clean and very well taken care of, beds were comfortable, loved the kitchen and space, the convenience of washer/dryer, and the multiple bathrooms! The home is lovely with nice decor, comfy beds with a gorgeous mountain view. Great decks altho during our stay we couldn't use them due to the snowstorm covering up everything (tons of snow) but there is some nice outdoor seating, picnic table, etc on two sides of the house. We did appreciate that the driveway was snow plowed for us which was great. A nice big garage which we used every day. The gas fireplace and the heated floors were a Godsend as it got down to -16 while we were there. I do recommend a 4 WD to get to this neighborhood if it is icy and snowing. My boys loved the loft (equipped with a pool table, TV, desk, and nice bathroom). Upstairs doesn't have a closet to access but there is a place to hang clothes in the bathroom and some ample shelving. We felt like the decor, linens, etc was very nice. Plenty of room in the kitchen to cook and store your food in the cabinets. The laundry room was BIG and a convenient space off the kitchen to hang your coats, place your snow boots, etc. Great place and responsive management team. I would love to come back in the summer months to this location. ##### Shelley S. Kitchen was not stocked as well as most we have stayed in. Dishes, pots and pans were great, just would have been nice to have a few things in kitchen such as condiments, olive oil etc. still a very nice place with friendly neighbors who were also originally from Oklahoma. ##### Cindy L.
