A/C This 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom luxury home is located in one of the most desirable vacation home areas. Just 10 minutes to town with the World Famous Hot Springs, shopping, dining and riverwalk and just 15 minutes to the top of the mountain where Wolf Creek Ski Resort is located. It's perfect for both summer and winter. Winter's Cabin is newly built, perfectly decorated and amazing wood work throughout the home. As you walk in the home, you'll immediately be amazed by the views of the San Juan Mountains from every room. The living room is 2 story's high, wood fireplace, comfy leather couches, large TV and opens to the dining and kitchen. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and has everything a chef would want to make a warm meal after a long day in the snow. The large deck runs the full length of the home and has nice outside furniture to relax and to enjoy a meal. There is also a gas BBQ and a sunken hot tub. The master and guest bedrooms are both on the main floor. The master has access to the deck, a king bed and large private bathroom and a gas fireplace. The guest bedroom has a king bed and has the house full bathroom just outside. Upstairs is a large loft where the kids can hang out, relax, and also have another full bathroom. This area is perfect for evening walks, nearby hikes and also has private access to the San Juan River. All trailers, RV's, campers or other recreation vehicles must be approved prior to arrival to be allowed on premises. This home is pet friendly. There is a $75.00 pet fee per dog, as well as a $100.00 refundable deposit per dog. 2 dog max This home does not allow smoking. This home has Air Conditioning There is also a 50 amp Tesla car charger in the garage. Please note there is a $50 cancellation fee that applies to all cancellations made after booking. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. The house is absolutely beautiful you can tell the owners/designers put thought into every piece of the house! The kitchen is a dream and has everything I needed to cook even cast iron! The garage was a huge plus too! Heated floors in the master bathroom! I could go on and on! The hot tub worked great and they had plenty of towels for it too! The beds were great too not all the same so we were able to move to a different one if one hurt our backs! The washer and dryer were nice and clean! It was decorated beautifully, especially the 22ft Christmas tree and special Christmas touches throughout. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans. There were a few spices under the stove, but make sure you go to the cabin before going to the store and make a list of all the things you will need that’s not there. (Salt and pepper, cooking spray, coffee, laundry detergent, baggies, etc.) Paper towels, dish soap, trashbags, and bathroom supplies are provided,(but you may want to bring your own shampoo, etc.) There are plenty of extra blankets and towels for the hot tub. The bathrooms are so spacious and beautiful! The beds are comfortable and there is wood for the fireplace outside, but not much. Last, Wolf Creek Ski area was very close and an perfect place to spend the day with the family. The town of Pagosa Springs is under a bit of construction, but still an awesome place to shop and eat. Overall, we highly recommend staying here!! (Just wish there had been some snow before we left! ;) ##### Charles G. The deck is lovely with an incredible view and includes rocking chairs, a grill, a full dining table, and a hot tub! The house was beautiful and very comfortable for our family of 5\. ##### Julie H.
