AC: Our home does not have AC. It sits at about 7400 feet above sea level, is surrounded by trees, off the river that cools the air and gets a nice steady breeze. More importantly, the temps from Colorado Springs to this home are different. The outside night time temperatures drop much further, and much quicker because of the altitude. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid.
