Million Dollar Views! If you want a sanctuary away from Page, this is the home for you. The view from my expansive deck can't be beat. The views from my house CANNOT be beat with any other home in the area. My home is not a hotel facility, but very spacious and now sleeps 12\. It is clean and perfect for a FAMILY GATHERING HUB. The splendor of expansive sights from my deck is unparalleled. Simply put: this home is by far and away, the best option for your large family in the entire area. There is a huge area for your boats to be right with you while you stay. The living and dining areas provide excellent spaciousness for family eating and enjoyment! There are rules about no lights on any outside houses so that you can see all the stars, but in the day, you have a full access view to Wahweap Bay and Lone Rock. Just minutes from Glen Canyon Dam and the mouth of the Grand Canyon , as well as the iconic Horseshoe Bend Overlook ! If you know Lake Powell at all, you will stand in awe as you sit on the deck and sip on your Merlot. There are two rooms with Kings beds, 1 with a Queen, and 2 with Double beds and we've added a brand new Sofa Bed with a Queen in the Living Room. Literally you can have 12 folks all together and when Page has NO motels/hotels in sight, you can have this lovely family home to come back to after your long day at the beach or hiking. Remember: It's Family Togetherness AT ITS BEST!!! The downstairs has NOT been updated and yet, is clean and the Family Room has DISH network available. This is my home, and I take enormous pride in keeping it in the family for generations to come. I'm sharing it with you for the time being and would GREATLY appreciate your taking care of it. Keywords: Sleeps 12, very quiet neighborhood....dark sky community. You will not find these views in Page--I guarantee. The home is big and will keep you all TOGETHER as a family for very reasonable rates!!!! Plus all the surrounding activities that will keep you busy for your entire vacation! If you appreciate private, quiet surroundings and a large and spacious place for your family, you will adore my home. One more note: this is a neighborhood that is VERY QUIET. If you want to have loud parties and music, I'm afraid my house won't do. But although it’s supposed to be able to welcome 10 persons, there not enough space on the dinner table for 10, neither enough dishes. The kitchen was very dirty and greasy and the dish washer was not working properly. The cupboards in the bedrooms were very messy and we were not supposed to use the “decorative” towels! One positive thing: every time we asked for something, the host did everything she could to help ( gas bottle for bbq, laundry basket, additional plates...) ##### Gregory C. Living area is big, bright and airy, with well kitted-out kitchen, - a very pleasant place to spent the day if you choose not to go out, or to just relax in the evening. Also, the downstairs sitting area, which also has a TV, looks like a good place for the kids to get away from the adults. The major attractions of the area are a short drive (antelope canyon, horseshoe bend, Glen Canyon dam, Lake Powel tours and toy rentals, and local hikes), Bedroom furnishings don't match the standard of the living area but since this seems to be reflected in the relatively low per night price of such a large well located home, we didn't ding it any stars. I read past reviews and figured as much and for the price I knew it wasn’t going to be perfect but… I was expecting everything to at least be functional and working. There were lights that didn’t work, outlets that didn’t work, both TV’s downstairs didn’t work, doors wouldn’t close all the way or even lock. The downstairs bathroom looked like it was in the middle of construction and then just covered up with a curtain. The mattresses need serious updating, we didn’t get a goodnight sleep because of that. The upstairs was pretty decent but the basement was another story. I did love the location, the views, and how many it could accommodate hence why we booked it. ##### Becky J.
