Created by Diablo Dam, the lake is located between Ross Lake and Gorge Lake on the Skagit River at an elevation of 1,201 feet (366 m) above sea level. The unique, intense turquoise hue of the lake's water is attributed to the surrounding glaciers that grind rocks into a fine powder that is carried into the lake through creeks. Definitely an ideal place to stay if you don’t have a car. Super close to Powell BART, you can walk there with your luggage. Short walk to Chinatown. Hotel was very clean and I always wipe down my room. There is a doorman/security for added safety. The pool is being remodeled. The staff always greeted me during my stay. I only stayed in the room to sleep and shower. I would stay here again. I did make a recommendation for the stairs on the E entrance my son is blind with very little vision. They have marked all the steps with yellow tape but not the top step he almost fell several times until leaning the steps. Also why no fans in the bathroom? My only other complaint is that I have asked for my invoice by phone and in person still yet to receive.
