We had a little trouble relaxing because everything was so perfect. There were many rules for the home and the neighborhood that guests in other homes near us were not following. We had to sign a special agreement before check in. The home was beautiful with lots of natural light. It was convenient to beach amenities, restaurants and a small market for groceries. Overall clean, comfortable, and well equipped but short of 5 stars for several reasons. Outdoor grill was greasy and not ready for our use as planned. Beach access is a boardwalk to the top of a sand dune descending to the beach. Great access, but a difficult ascending return. Public access just north at cape Kiwanda is much easier. Blindsided by no shoes in house policy. I would have preferred to bring my house slippers over wearing my socks if disclosed proactively in the ad house rules, or important information. A flyswatter would also have been handy for that one pesky fly. These are our suggestions for an improved stay experience. ##### Mark R.
