This hotel has a fantastic location. Restaurants abound, La Plancha Park is at the end of the Gastronomic Street, Paseo Montejo is a block away with mansions, museums, restaurants, shop, and pedestrian Sundays. The staff is bilingual and couldn’t be nicer. The pool area is an oasis. I especially enjoyed it at sunset.

Room was spotless and very comfortable. Staff were helpful with our plans in Mérida.

Staying at this property was wonderful. From the moment I arrived and received a very warm welcome at reception, to the equally warm thank you I received while leaving, all of the staff were very welcoming and helpful, and there was always someone around and available if I had any questions about local services. The breakfasts were varied and delicious, even the buffet style breakfasts served on the weekends, and the waitstaff was gracious. Cleaning of the rooms and maintenance of the grounds seemed to be intuitive, aware when I left the room and done before I could return and almost invisible otherwise--even the rotating selection of cookies seemed to appear magically for turndown when I was away from my room for dinner. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well furnished. The air conditioning, even when I turned it off or down when I left the room for the middle of the day, quickly cooled the room when I returned. My only suggestion would possibly be supply of a regular sized ironing board instead of a short legged desk top model--ironing of my shirts for dinnertime proved to be a challenge with the short legged version.

Honestly you walk through the front door into another world! It feels like yuozr in the muddle of a forest and the atmosphere is peace and relaxation. Our room was spacious and airy and perfect temp to get away from the heat we had during our visit. The plung pool qas wonderfully relaxing and excitingly fun and thw under ground hot pool was wonderful. Helpful and friendlzly staff add to the fact that we will be returning to this beautiful retreat in the middle of the city.
