A luxurious 6 bedroom oceanview villa, Villa Fantome is located on the Dutch side of St. Maarten in the gated community of Dawn Beach Estates. The views of Oyster Pond, Tintamare, Anguilla, St. Barths, St. Kitts, and Nevis are ENDLESS. The unique multi-level design of the villa takes advantage of these spectacular ocean views from EVERY single room! Each of the 6 bedroom suites boasts breathtaking ocean views. The moment you pull into the driveway and enter the oversized custom wood front doors, you will be captivated! The property is perfect for large groups, families, weddings, photoshoots, and corporate retreats, as there is plenty of space for everyone. On the main floor, Villa Fantome is equipped with a beautiful gourmet kitchen featuring a spectacular quartzite island that can seat up to 12 guests. The kitchen is bright, modern, and well appointed with everything you could need during your stay. You will enjoy looking out at St. Barths while you are preparing your meals and simultaneously enjoy the breathtaking views of Oyster Pond and Dawn Beach. Relaxing in the hanging rattan chair in the corner of the room while the chef prepares your meal makes this kitchen a unique experience to remember. The chef in your group will love cooking in this large space. If you don't want to cook, you can also hire professional chef services to enjoy during your stay. We also provide a stainless steel grill for cooking outside. There is a 6 person teak breakfast table on the veranda adjacent to the kitchen in addition to the large, main outdoor dining area. A half level down from the main floor, the living room boasts soaring 20 foot ceilings. There is a seating area to enjoy the beautiful views, as well as bar height table and chairs for a small group to gather for food or drinks. Dining al fresco will be an experience to remember at Villa Fantome, as the outdoor seating area is large enough to comfortably host up to 14 guests. A half level below the living room, you will find the media room. The media room has a large flat screen TV and a comfortable sectional to enjoy movie night after a long day in the sun. The sectional can also easily accommodate additional younger guests as an alternative sleeping option. On this level, you will also find 3 ocean view bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. Each room is equipped with a king size bed, luxury linens, custom toiletries, and walk-in showers. Located on the pool level, guests staying in one of these 3 bedroom suites will enjoy the convenience of walking out of their sliding glass doors directly onto the pool deck. The pool features 5 built-in bar stools to take advantage of the breathtaking views. Imagine sipping your cocktail, feeling the tradewinds, and looking out over the Atlantic ocean! The upper floor also features a walk out balcony and sun deck. There are 4 lounge chairs on the deck for your enjoyment. It is a perfect place to relax and take in the incredible views of St. Barths. The Presidential Suite features a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, and walk-in closet. The suite also features a seating area with a convertible sofa that could serve as an additional sleeping space for a younger guest if needed. A second master suite is located on the main floor, just beyond the kitchen. This master suite also features an en-suite bathroom, walk-in shower, king size bed, and small futon that could serve as an additional sleeping space for a younger guest. For added convenience, there is also a laundry room and full cabana bathroom with a walk-in shower located on the main level. The laundry room features 2 large capacity washers and 2 large capacity dryers. The 6th bedroom is located in the studio apartment under the main villa. This apartment features an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, private balcony, and a kitchenette. This is a separate, private space but with stairs and a ramp leading up to the main villa from the outside, it is easy for guests to be a part of all the amenities that the main villa offers. Villa Fantome also comes equipped with 2 paddleboards, kayak, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, and a cooler to enjoy during your stay. Beautiful Dawn Beach is situated directly below the property and can be accessed from the neighborhood. About a 7-10 minute walk from the villa, Dawn Beach is a gorgeous white sand beach with a coral reef perfect for snorkeling. The JW Marriott/ Dawn Beach Club offers a beachfront bar and a light lunch menu. With 6 bedrooms and 7 full bathrooms, Villa Fantome comfortably accommodates up to 12 adult guests, but can also fit additional younger guests if needed. The nightly rate posted online is for use of the main villa, which includes up to 5 bedrooms and 10 guests. For more than 10 guests, there is an additional fee of $125 per person per night. Beautiful property, views, and great "jumping off" location to orient beach and other areas of interest. Only drawbacks were (1)the non-heated pool but that wasn't promised. It was very windy the weeks we were there (end of january) And (2) it wasn't an easy walk to beach. The villa has everything and is treated like a hotel stay with multiple cleanings and fresh flowers and Villa Fantome gift bags and carry totes in each room. There is Villa Fantome branding throughout and story book of its history. The house is beautifully decorated with great art work and art coral coffee table pieces. The interior and exterior architecture is exquisite and the flooring is a beautiful marble throughout and the bedding and towels are 5 star hotel. Beautiful sitting spaces throughout and very spacious. High end furniture throughout. The pool and pool chases are a wonderful home escape for the chill days. The views are fantastic throughout the villa. The closest town Phillipsburg has great shopping restaurants and a very nice beach just ten mins drive. We did a private catamaran trip and had private Chef Laura do a dinner at the villa. Great place and island. Highly recommend. ##### Scott D. The views are stunning, the infinity pool is just perfect and the sea breeze was fabulous! Towels, beach towels, kitchen was stocked with appliances and utensils. Pool area and outdoor seatings areas were amazing, views incredible. Dawn beach has a beach club below (soon to be a JW Marriott) and we had access to all their amenities. Driving distance to French side and orient bay were 20 min, Simpson bay also 25 min so location perfect to see the island. Daryl the caretaker was super, kept in touch on what’s app and helped coordinate drivers. Gabi the owner was so thoughtful, helped with all beach chair and lunch and dinner reservations and even the grocery deliveries. We had a great balance of enjoying the luxuries of the villa and exploring the island. We did a private boat charter which allowed us to visit Pinel and other remote islands at St Martin. We hired a steel drum band one evening and we had more fun and laughs than we ever could have imagined. We had a couple cars so we made some trips to some beaches and dinner as well. When we were at the villa we took advantage of all the beautiful rooms and their views— swimming, dancing, playing cards. The only thing that went wrong was the internet went out one of our last evenings and the men were disappointed they missed the NCAA basketball games. But just as Gabi mentioned, the property manager was there on the spot trying his best to remedy the problem. We had a group of friends and family staying for my wife’s 40th and the house worked great for our needs. The rooms were all very nice with large beds as described. Kitchen was well supplied with cookware. The island was great for gathering around. The pool was a bit chilly, but great on the warmer days. We had several dinners on the long outside table that were perfect. The beach was close, but recommend taking a car part of the way especially if you have kids. This house is in a pretty good location for access to the French side of the island. Daryl, the property manager, was on the ball. He always responded quickly to all our needs. Gabi provided a great island guide prior to our arrival that we appreciated during our stay. The only con, and we knew this at booking, was there were parts of the house that weren’t exactly baby/toddler friendly: some not very wide steps leading to the top floor, some places that could have used something simply to block access, and the edge of the infinity pool had quite the drop. The villa's breathtaking views from every level and tranquil ambiance made it the perfect retreat. It's by far the best-stocked rental we've experienced, with every detail considered, including pantry items left by previous guests—a thoughtful touch that minimized waste. Daryl, the house manager, was like family to us, warmly welcoming us and promptly addressing any needs. He even cut fresh coconuts from the front yard, a highlight for the kids who also enjoyed catching hermit crabs just outside the door at night. Navigating the island posed a challenge initially with our original transportation company, but Daryl quickly introduced us to Wilfrid, who became our trusted guide. Wilfrid's familiarity with the island's roads and his warm personality made every journey safe and enjoyable. His local insights added depth to our exploration. Our first trip to Sint Maarten was a hit with the whole family, creating cherished memories and a longing to return. Villa Fantome and its hosts made our vacation truly special.
