Come experience sun-filled days by the pool, explore over 35 beaches, and enjoy a variety of activities such as snorkeling, swimming, hiking, sailing, and ziplining. A luxurious 6 bedroom oceanview villa, Villa Fantome is located on the Dutch side of St. Maarten in the gated community of Dawn Beach Estates. The views of Oyster Pond, Tintamare, Anguilla, St. Barths, St. Kitts, and Nevis are ENDLESS. The unique multi-level design of the villa takes advantage of these spectacular ocean views from EVERY single room! Each of the 6 bedroom suites boasts breathtaking ocean views. The moment you pull into the driveway and enter the oversized custom wood front doors, you will be captivated! The property is perfect for large groups, families, weddings, photoshoots, and corporate retreats, as there is plenty of space for everyone. On the main floor, Villa Fantome is equipped with a beautiful gourmet kitchen featuring a spectacular quartzite island that can seat up to 12 guests. The kitchen is bright, modern, and well appointed with everything you could need during your stay. You will enjoy looking out at St. Barths while you are preparing your meals and simultaneously enjoy the breathtaking views of Oyster Pond and Dawn Beach. Relaxing in the hanging rattan chair in the corner of the room while the chef prepares your meal makes this kitchen a unique experience to remember. The chef in your group will love cooking in this large space. If you don't want to cook, you can also hire professional chef services to enjoy during your stay. We also provide a stainless steel grill for cooking outside. There is a 6 person teak breakfast table on the veranda adjacent to the kitchen in addition to the large, main outdoor dining area. A half level down from the main floor, the living room boasts soaring 20 foot ceilings. There is a seating area to enjoy the beautiful views, as well as bar height table and chairs for a small group to gather for food or drinks. Dining al fresco will be an experience to remember at Villa Fantome, as the outdoor seating area is large enough to comfortably host up to 14 guests. A half level below the living room, you will find the media room. The media room has a large flat screen TV and a comfortable sectional to enjoy movie night after a long day in the sun. The sectional can also easily accommodate additional younger guests as an alternative sleeping option. On this level, you will also find 3 ocean view bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. Each room is equipped with a king size bed, luxury linens, custom toiletries, and walk-in showers. Located on the pool level, guests staying in one of these 3 bedroom suites will enjoy the convenience of walking out of their sliding glass doors directly onto the pool deck. The pool features 5 built-in bar stools to take advantage of the breathtaking views. Imagine sipping your cocktail, feeling the tradewinds, and looking out over the Atlantic ocean! This may end up being your favorite spot in the whole house! The pool deck features multiple lounge chairs for sunbathing. There is also a small seating conversation area to enjoy cocktails. Above the main floor is an upper master suite also known as the "Presidential Suite". The spiral staircase leads you first to a gorgeous rotunda foyer. This is the entry way to the suite. The upper floor also features a walk out balcony and sun deck. There are 4 lounge chairs on the deck for your enjoyment. It is a perfect place to relax and take in the incredible views of St. Barths. The Presidential Suite features a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, and walk-in closet. The suite also features a seating area with a convertible sofa that could serve as an additional sleeping space for a younger guest if needed. A second master suite is located on the main floor, just beyond the kitchen. This master suite also features an en-suite bathroom, walk-in shower, king size bed, and small futon that could serve as an additional sleeping space for a younger guest. For added convenience, there is also a laundry room and full cabana bathroom with a walk-in shower located on the main level. The laundry room features 2 large capacity washers and 2 large capacity dryers. The 6th bedroom is located in the studio apartment under the main villa. This apartment features an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, private balcony, and a kitchenette. This is a separate, private space but with stairs and a ramp leading up to the main villa from the outside, it is easy for guests to be a part of all the amenities that the main villa offers. Villa Fantome also comes equipped with 2 paddleboards, kayak, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, and a cooler to enjoy during your stay. Beautiful Dawn Beach is situated directly below the property and can be accessed from the neighborhood. About a 7-10 minute walk from the villa, Dawn Beach is a gorgeous white sand beach with a coral reef perfect for snorkeling. The JW Marriott/ Dawn Beach Club offers a beachfront bar and a light lunch menu. With 6 bedrooms and 7 full bathrooms, Villa Fantome comfortably accommodates up to 12 adult guests, but can also fit additional younger guests if needed. The nightly rate posted online is for use of the main villa, which includes up to 5 bedrooms and 10 guests. For more than 10 guests, there is an additional fee of $125 per person per night. This additional fee includes the use of the studio apartment, which is the 6th bedroom. The villa is conveniently located close to the French border, so hopping over to the experience the beautiful beaches and top notch restaurants on the French side is a breeze. The house is VERY well appointed. The best that I’ve vacationed in. Lots of dishes, paper towels, linens, spices, oils, trash bags, laundry soap, etc. We were there 10 days and the house manager was excellent. Great communication before and during our stay. The only suggestion that I could make would be for the pool to be heated. The sun barely hit the pool during the time of year we there so it couldn’t warm it up. Cold plunge anyone? We did! (At least once).Monkeys and iguanas were seen daily in the vegetation around the house which was fun to observe. There were great personal touches, like sending someone to meet us at the airport and guide us to the villa, special welcome gifts, and attentive service from the always available house manager Nataesha. The house was absolutely spotless, and the housekeeping team was great. They serviced the house twice during our week-long stay. The villa provided a useful guide for places to visit and restaurant recommendations all around the island. The careful renovations that were completed at this villa were well done. They also recommended caterers and we enjoyed 3 different chef-catered meals- a grazing table/ appetizers meal, a plated served dinner party and a brunch feast. While we had hope to dine outside, we happened to catch a windy week and we were happier taking meals indoors, which worked out great. We also had the recommended Steel Pan Drum musician and that was a highlight of the trip! So much fun! It was so helpful to have a set of vetted vendors so we didn't have to sort through the options on our own. Gabi the owner was always super helpful by email as well. Special shout out to the Lilly Pulitzer home accents- loved it! Seriously- no complaints about this place. You'll need to know there are stairs to get to the pool level, the studio suite if using, and the upstairs primary suite. Everything about this trip was perfect from the first time I contacted the host (Gabi) to working with the property manager (Natesha) and finally the cleaning crew.Gabi was very responsive and answered every question we had quickly and honestly. There were no surprises, other than the fact the property was even more beautiful than the pictures.Natesha took the time to show us the property upon arrival and was very thorough. Thorough enough that we really didn't need anything through the week and it helped us relax and enjoy our trip.The cleaning crew came in twice during the week and went above and beyond what we thought they would do. We were a group of 12 adults/adult children. The house exceeded our expectations which were high. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful. The views from every room were outstanding. They help coordinate dinner reservations and beach club reservations when we had trouble getting through on the phone. Their hospitality was exceptional. Not only did it have a ton of space, but the layout enabled our group to spend time together, but areas where you could just relax. The villa is well equipped with everything we needed. We have a large family, so we always stay in a vacation home when traveling and hands down this was the best experience. Communication prior to our trip was the best I have ever had. Gabi was so responsive and provided amazing recommendations. We followed her guide from preordering groceries to the restaurants, to the perfect beach locations, and even an incredible sunset catamaran cruise. We were not disappointed. What I loved the most were the personal touches throughout our stay that really made us feel like we were welcome guest in someone’s home not just renting a space. The villa has everything and is treated like a hotel stay with multiple cleanings and fresh flowers and Villa Fantome gift bags and carry totes in each room. There is Villa Fantome branding throughout and story book of its history. The house is beautifully decorated with great art work and art coral coffee table pieces. The interior and exterior architecture is exquisite and the flooring is a beautiful marble throughout and the bedding and towels are 5 star hotel. Beautiful sitting spaces throughout and very spacious. High end furniture throughout. The pool and pool chases are a wonderful home escape for the chill days. The views are fantastic throughout the villa. The closest town Phillipsburg has great shopping restaurants and a very nice beach just ten mins drive. We did a private catamaran trip and had private Chef Laura do a dinner at the villa. Great place and island. Highly recommend. ##### Scott D. The property was better than advertised. It really was a beautiful villa and the views were spectacular. The property manager, Daryl, was a pleasure to work with and the owner even connected us with a private chef to come in and cook for us one evening. Beautiful property, views, and great "jumping off" location to orient beach and other areas of interest. Only drawbacks were (1)the non-heated pool but that wasn't promised. It was very windy the weeks we were there (end of january) And (2) it wasn't an easy walk to beach.
