Located in Silver Strand, an exclusive mile long stretch of pristine California coast, our newest home boasts 50 feet of sandy beachfront. The extra large beachfront stretch allows for stunning views from the main living area, kitchen and dining room, and also two bedrooms! The large sandy beach right in front of our home is like your own private beach. Great for families with small children. It's easy to keep an eye on them when you have the beach right there! The back patio has an outdoor shower with hot water, to rinse off after a day at the beach. LOCATION: Conveniently located near Santa Barbara, Carpenteria and Ventura, just off the 101 freeway. We are 65 miles north of LA, 25 minutes north of Malibu, 35 minutes south of Santa Barbara and just 10 minutes from downtown Ventura. Silver Strand is famous for its great surf break out front, it's secluded mile long stretch of beach and it's peaceful sandy beaches. Visit downtown Ventura for a wide selection of dining-you won't be disappointed with it's variety of boutiques and great restaurants. This beautiful, California Beach Bungalow style two-story home is located in Silver Strand in Ventura County. Come experience classic California beach living at its best. Enjoy stunning ocean views and sunsets from the front deck, family room, kitchen, bedroom, roof top deck and upstairs MASTER SUITE. Start each morning drinking your coffee with the entire beach in front of you. Open the wall of doors to experience in-door-out-door California living at its finest. There is so much to do in the immediate surrounding area, yet you will want to be home every evening to watch the incredible sunsets. As if the views could get any better from inside, wait until you venture up to the Roof top deck. Lounge in privacy on top of it all, with 360 views, a new hot tub, and gas fire pit. All four bedrooms have doors that lead to an outdoor patio space. The two upstairs rooms open out to a shared deck with ocean views, and the two bedrooms downstairs have doors leading to a common patio and the beach. GREAT ROOM: To take advantage of the best views, the LIVING area is upstairs on the second floor. The living room has a full size sofa that is also a queen sofa bed & 2 occasional chairs that provides plenty of seating to enjoy not only the stunning ocean view, but also to watch a movie and relax. A large multi-panel sliding glass door provides a spacious flow between the indoors and outdoors. Open it to bring the outdoors in, and take advantage of the refreshing ocean breeze. This room is equipped with a large flat screen television with surround sound, direct tv/blu-ray/netflix and WiFi. There is a gas fireplace for those chilly winter evenings. KITCHEN: The kitchen is located right next to the living area on the second floor and enjoys the same stunning views. Equipped with beautiful new custom cabinetry, granite countertops and new appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking wants and needs. There is a spacious island with full ocean views. Next to the kitchen is the large dining table, perfect for family meals or hours of card games. BEDROOMS & BATH: Off the living room and kitchen upstairs is 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedrooms 3 & 4 are on the ground level. MASTER SUITE: Bedroom 1\. The master bedroom is upstairs off the main living area. It won't be easy to get out of bed with the large picture windows and expansive ocean views. With the channel islands straight ahead, the stunning nightly sunsets and the surf to watch, you will never tire of this view. Open your windows to let in the fresh ocean breeze, or walk out on the side deck to take it all in. Enjoy the sound of the ocean each night while you sleep. The master bedroom is equipped with a new king bed, LCD tv, occasional chair, and its own access to the outdoor side deck. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with double sinks and stunning marble accents. Wash the sand away in luxury in the custom European polished cement shower with smooth stone floors. Sleeps 2 BEDROOM 2 The second bedroom upstairs has a new queen size bed, a LCD tv and direct access to the ocean view side deck via the sliding glass door. The bathroom is just outside the door and has a shower/bathtub combination in style.Sleeps 2 BEDROOM 3 The third bedroom is on the bottom floor and also enjoys great ocean views! This room has a new queen size bed, LCD tv, and private access to the back patio and the beach thru the French door. This room has an ensuite Jack and Jill style bathroom, that connects thru to bedroom 4\. The custom finished bathroom has two vanities and a shower. Sleeps 2 BEDROOM 4 This bedroom has 2 queen size beds, and 2 twin bunks over top. This space is perfect for two couples, a family with kids or a space just for the kids! The room has access to the Jack and Jill bathroom with two sinks and a french door access to the back patio and beach. Sleeps 4-6 BATHROOM 1 Is located in the upstairs Master bedroom. It has 2 sinks, toilet and a shower. BATHROOM 2 Is located on the 2nd floor off the main living area. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower combination. BATHROOM 3 Is located on the first floor and is a Jack and Jill bathroom between bedrooms 3 & 4\. It has 2 sinks , a toilet and a shower. It's hard to not take a morning and evening stroll on this peaceful stretch of beach, searching for shells, exploring the beach for hours! Paddle boarding, kayaking, body boarding and swimming. Séjour de 3 nuits en mars 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Audra B. 8 janv. 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Good location for Channel Islands This is a good place to stay if you are going to Channel Islands as it is close to the ferry and a nice variety of restaurants. It's not a great beach location given all of the shipping traffic and fishing industry there. The rental is good a bit tired, with chipped paint, appliances that don't work well. The rental agreement is the most involved I've had to complete for a VRBO. LOTS of you-better-do-ALL-of-this-or-else wording. It's clearly a corporate rental vs. a person/family, so don't expect any humanity for checking in early (will incur a 150 fee of your deposit even if cleaners have long been gone) and other nice accommodations. It was good enough for our trip purposes but I would not stay here again. ##### Audra B. The beautiful windows were so dirty someone wrote their name on them, and we could barely see through the dirt. Spending all this money for an ocean view was a waste of our money. Our first visit was to the store so we could get window cleaner. There are 3 TVs upstairs, but only one remote. The couch was built for someone very tall. So uncomfortable for us because we are not tall. Built in ice maker was nonoperational so we had to rely on the slow refrigerator icemaker. We had to purchase ice to keep up with our needs. Dishwasher worked so poorly we had to hand wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Beautiful home right on a fabulous, huge, sandy beach! Everything was just as described. Wall of windows looking out to the ocean from the family room/kitchen was a special feature. Spent lots of time on the roof with fireplace and hot tub. We loved the quiet communities of Oxnard & Ventura. Communicating with Marcie was easy and fast. The host was welcoming and helpful with all things regarding our stay. Multiple times the locals would ask how we found such a nice beach and honestly it was the house listing. It is exactly as shown. The hot tub takes a quick YouTube to adjust settings. Amazing views of large ships pulling into port, a shipwreck to the left of the lifeguard stand. The longest softest secluded beach RIGHT when you step outside. Plan to relax and enjoy the neighborhood- beautiful landscaping, a marina with seals and The Strand restaurant serving amazing food and drinks. One of our best bookings through VRBO. ##### Megan B. This home is so tastefully designed and cared for. Everything we hoped for and more! The attention to detail, comfort and care is unparalleled. The view is marvelous and the property owners and their staff kind, receptive and timely in addressing our very few concerns. We loved staying here and will be back for sure! We had the MOST wonderful and relaxing time at this perfect gem of a beach house. The location is just right, quiet and not overrun with tourists. The home is beyond gorgeous and well appointed, calming and peaceful. The views are stunning and there are plenty of quiet spaces all over the house to retreat to and relax. It’s all in from all over the country to stay at this beautiful Silverstrand beachfront house. The sunsets from the rooftop are spectacular. This is a quiet end of the beach. The big foldaway sliders on the main floor are a real treat. Loved the kitchen and the open floor plan of the main room. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Access to the beach was amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. The house is beautiful. Tastefully decorated with with a very upscale coastal beach decor. You always felt very comfortable. It was a milestone birthday and it is truly one I will never forget; as well as my family. My nieces and nephew waited 6 months for this trip. It was their first vacation and they will remember this for the rest of their lives and want to do it again soon. The looks on their faces the first time they saw the sunset on the beach was priceless, or when they saw the house in person. Even they said it was luxurious. The whole experience was fabulous. And Marci was wonderful to work with. The views, being right on the beach, easy drive to great hikes, to nice restaurants and towns etc. The home has everything you need, is clean and is beautifully furnished. I personally love that there were dimmers on most lights. We so enjoyed the hot tub on roof top every evening after a fun day of activities. The rooftop fire pit and jacuzzi were perfect for the chilly nights. The interior gave perfect beach house vibes without overdoing it. Everything you need is less than a 10 minute drive.
