"Can't fault it"
This is our second stay here, this time for my son's graduation. Very happy with our room, beautiful view of college opposite. Can't really fault anything about the hotel.

"Excellent central location, a bit noisy"
If you're in one of the rooms facing the bus depot, bit noisy but otherwise clean and servicable. Our shower was broken but they phoned ahead of time to inform us and gave us a discount - customer service you rarely get anywhere else and was appreciated!

"Tasteful remodel of goal"
Very clever conversion of an old prison - you expect to meet Norman Stanley Fletcher around each corner. It was worth the extra for a "cell " room in the original cell block over an annex room as we wanted to squeeze the maximum fun from our stay. The hotel staff were helpful and professional and the rooms to a high standard. The whole hotel complex is very quiet , being set well back from any roads and in a pedestrian area. Although it is a quirky building Malmaison have resisted Disneyfying the concept - it's a luxury hotel first to last.

"Oxford Convenience"
Small room, but excellent proximity to town centre. The reception person was very courteous and helped us squeeze into a car park which was much appreciated. After a lovely walk, we turned on the TV and followed the instructions for Sky TV, no luck. After some experimenting and ignoring the instructions we finally got it to work. Nice and quiet location and breakfast over the road included in the room tariff. Excellent value for money.

"Good value guesthouse"
The guesthouse is in Summertown in North Oxford, which is a small but bustling town with lots of facilities very close by: lots of restaurants, a couple of pubs, supermarkets, and a few other shops. There is a regular bus link to the city centre, or it's roughly a 25-30 minute walk to Broad Street. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and accommodating, and check-in/out were very easy. The room was of a good standard: spacious, pretty clean, and with a large en suite bathroom. The shower was temperamental the first morning of my stay, but was better the next day. The double bed was fine - large and comfortable, but with a small difference in level in the middle (it was two singles pushed together). The hotel is mostly quite quiet, but there was occasionally a small amount of noise on the main stairs, e.g. with families leaving early. This was not a large problem, though. Breakfast was very good, and generous - it was essentially continental-style (croissant, toast, cereal, yoghurt), plus boiled eggs, tea, coffee on request. Overall, I had a good stay - the hotel was good value, close enough to the centre of Oxford, and the staff were very friendly.

"A Convenient B&B for Travelers Close to the Action"
What a find this comfortable B&B proved to be. The management was unobtrusive but obliging when requested. Wonderful hosts. Convenient to the tourist sites but away from the hustle and bustle. Well serviced by frequent buses to Kedlington. The inclusive breakfast was prepared by the resident hostess; top class preparation and gracious service. We remarked they deserved 5 stars. Certainly we will keep this address for future reference. Well situated too for a day outing to Blenheim Palace the largest palace in Britain
