The apartments are fully furnished and have free wi-fi access. The kitchens are modern with all appliances and equipment necessary if you wish to self cater. The first floor 2 bedroom duplex apartment has the main bedroom with a luxurious kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom together with bedroom 2 that has twin 3' beds with ensuite bathroom. All are provided with quality, white linen and towels. We also have a ground floor 1 bedroom apartment that can be booked together with this apartment to sleep a maximum of 6 people. On arrival you will find milk together with a stock of condiments such as coffee, tea, sugar, oil, salt and pepper. A welcome pack of Household items such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, washing powder and toilet rolls are all provided for your use. Two Bedroom First FloorApartment • 5' Kingsize Bed with ensuite bathroom and shaver point • Twin 3' beds with ensuite shower and shaver point • Duplex Apartment • Allocated parking space The nearest shops have local supermarkets, newsagents, banks and cash points, a post office, chemist and a range of take aways. Larger superstores are a short drive around the City ring road. The City centre is a 10 minute drive and is easily accessed by car, bus, taxi, cycle or walking. A regular bus service starting from Oxford Brookes Harcourt Hill Campus, 300m walk away, gives direct access to Oxford Railway Station, Said Business School, the City centre shops, the University of Oxford and all the Colleges, museums and parks. This route also connects with the buses if you wish to visit Bicester Village, London, Heathrow and Gatwick. Award winning gastro pubs are in easy walking and driving distance around the outskirts of Oxford as well as a wide range of well known restaurants within the City centre. All bases covered! A helpful folder for guests and useful reference material about Oxford added to the experience overall. One issue that was not clear in the description is the distance to the nearest bus stop, and that the only bus route into Oxford only goes to the Thames River whereupon you have to walk 500m or so to pick up a bus on the other side. And taxis to Oxford ranged from 20 to32 pounds. Communication was excellent and the hosts had a very helpful home & area guide. The visit was even better than the photos and spotless. My husband enjoyed chatting with John, and it was so easy to walk 5 minutes to the Harcout Hill 400 bus to take into downtown. The home had everything to anticipate guests needs, from a well stocked kitchen to a pleasant sitting room with board games and DVDs. Ideally situated for Oxford city and Blenheim Palace which we wanted to visit. Blenheim is beautiful and well worth a visit. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, cosy and quiet. The beds were amazing and the two en-suite rooms meant my friend and I had our own facilities. There are lots of nice pubs in the area serving tasty meals.
