The property was ok for a budget stay but you DEFINITELY hear the interstate traffic! The rooms were clean but needs some updates and a good maintenance guy. I would probably stay there again if I had to but definitely would look elsewhere before.

This property is not well maintained. It was difficult to open & close the door to the bathroom. It seems the walkway in the 2nd floor is sinking to one side. The air conditioning was very noisy. Cost a lot to stay because of the NASCAR race.. at least was good.

The room smelt very badly, the AC was extremely loud and no one wanted to shower becuase it was so dirty.

The room stunk, other people staying smoking weed, could smell it even with the door closed. Too noisey. No where on reservation did it let us know the pool was closed and that was what i booked there for it had a pool.

No cold water in sink. Construction workers knocking on doors all night. But of a roach problem. But was near nice eating facilities. Nice area. Indoor kart and Walmart near.

Pool was empty, and has been for 4 years. No coffee in lobby. rotten wood at shower entry handicap ramp. mold and dirt in bathroom dirty sidewalk and trash in grass. AC worked very poorly. curtain full of dust. outdated counters. freezer in frig iced over 3-4 inches thick.

I got what I paid for on race weekend, but the photos are misleading. The staff was very nice and friendly but the rooms were awful. There was no hot water in the morning, the beds were very low, the toilet clogged after the first flush and the lights went off and on when using a hair dryer. Spend a little more money and get something better. Super 8 across the street was a million times better when we stayed there for a different race weekend.

It will die in a pinch or if on a tight budget.
Pretty clean. Good shower and water pressure. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable with rickety box springs that creaked with every move.

Do not stay here
The room smelled strong chemical, the floor was dirty, there was no coffee maker although website said there was, the bathroom with molded mat, dirty towel. The price was cheap but the pic doesn’t show any of horrible condition of corse. We would have spend more $$ to stay a hotel so we feel safe and comfortable. Never use this motel!!!

Recently updated
The motel has been recently updated with new painting and a good cleanup. We were expecting the worse and both of us were very surprised at the value/condition of the property. I recommend staying at this Motel 6!

We checked in and got our key before going to race, the gentleman who did that was very nice, after race we went to room, dead roaches on floor, room smells like cigar gagging, bathroom oh my God floor so dirty ,shower awful bed so lumpy like rocks ,when you lay down your feet go in air and cracks like going to break. My husband went to front desk the man up there stated "we full, what you want me to do" my husband said how we suppose to take a bath , man stated "go somewhere else" my husband said give me my money back and we will, he stated "I dont got nothing to do with that", we have stayed here before the room was decent this was awful didnt take our socks off, could not take a bathkept our clothes on,lay down for few hours ,worst experience ever, when we checked out the gentleman from first day said when we complained the guy was suppose to give us another room but he was just a jerk. I will not stay there ever again

I traveled with my daughter. This was a very clean, very quiet area even though it is right beside the interstate. Staff were ver helpful. I will definitely be staying here again if I am in this area.

Bed was covered in stains. Had to get housekeeping to come change it . Got Lysol and bacterial spray .sprayed everything down. Bathroom was too small .

We were double charged and still haven't received the refund. The shower flooded the floor and there was massive water damage. The toilet picked when it wanted to flush. Nowhere even close to worth the money we spent to stay there.

This Motel 6 is what one might refer to as a roach motel. The room we stayed in was in very poor condition. The furniture was falling apart, the wall, floor and bathroom were filthy. The bathroom was the worst. Mold, mildew and permanent dirty spots that were poorly covered with silicone caulk. I wish I had brought flip flops just to use the shower. There is NO WAY I would let my bare feet touch that floor. Just to be clear I'm not trying to say the room needed cleaning...it needed torn out! New drywall, flooring, furniture, and everything. Also if they advertise they have a pool, it's empty and I'm sure it didn't function. Oxford was a great place to stay for the Talladega race though. The surrounding area was nice and the drive to the speedway was ~20 mins. But I won't be staying here again. Yuk.

Dirty! Remote batteries dead, lights burnt out, the shower didn’t work…at all. Sheets and pillows were disgusting. Mold and grime in corners and along the baseboards.
