It is a beautiful home. However, my disappointment came a week after my departure. I received an unexpected charge of $20 to my credit card for a stained towel. I was provided with a picture of said towel that left me wondering where exactly the stain was. My two star review is solely a reflection of the “stained towel” that I did not stain. I wanted peaceful and relaxed. That is exactly what I got. Check in was an easy process. The only problem that I had was I read the code incorrectly, and Communication was slow, but other than that getting into the property was easy. There is a shared driveway that I was not prepared for so be cautious when inviting people and having multiple cars, parking is limited to roughly about four or five cars. After that, you will have to park along the grass near the shared driveway. Also, the pool table is not inside of the cabin. Everything else was perfect. My friends had an amazing time and so did I. The property was clean. The space was as described. although it says that you can sleep 10 people here I do not know how that would be possible. The loft area does allow for a few more people to possibly sleep on the floor or people can sleep in the living room, but I could not see 10 people sleeping there comfortably. I will be booking again because my friends think it’s a great place to have a ladies night. It is tucked away, which makes it even better. ##### Laura M. The cabin is beautifully updated and had everything we needed. It was close enough to Durham for a few day trips and far enough from everything else to really appreciate the surrounding nature. We spent time on the dock, in the hot tub, and by the fire pit. The pond was great for nature watching and we tried some fishing from the dock and had a few bites. The location was within an easy drive and the cabin was beautiful, well provisioned, and very clean. Comfortable seating was plentiful which made for a relaxing time just hanging out. Games and the paddleboard gave a break from sitting and talking. While the pond is small, it was very pleasant paddling around it early and late in the day. The home was clean and well appointed both inside and out. The hot tub was well maintained and very enjoyable. The lodge is postcard cute and charming. It is modern, clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with linens and kitchen items. The property manager was easy to communicate with during our booking and our stay. Even though it rained during our weekend at the lodge, we were able to keep ourselves entertained with kayaks, pool, bean toss, and other games and recreation equipment that were available for our use.
