You'll also have shared access to a seasonal pool and seasonal tennis courts. You'll find this condo in North Creek Resort, a complex that sits a quarter-mile walk from the Weider Express High-Speed Lift and a short ride on the free shuttle bus from Blue Mountain Village (less than a mile south). In the Village, you'll find another ski lift and dozens of restaurants and shops amid charming cobblestone streets and turn-of-the-century architecture. In the summertime, Northwinds Beach on South Georgian Bay is only a mile north. There are also five golf courses within a 12-mile drive, including Monterra Golf one mile down the road. THINGS TO KNOW The shared pool is typically open from just after Victoria Day Weekend in May through Labour Day Weekend in September. Dates are subject to change. Charcoal is not provided for the shared charcoal grill. This home is near but not associated with the Blue Mountain Resort. This property is managed by Vacasa Canada ULC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Ski shuttle details: Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. The people upstairs when they walk, talk, open a faucet. When people talk outside especially near the wall heater (must be an opening cold air under it). The groomers on the hill beeping away as if its outside the front door. The unit is ideally located to the North base at Blue, #4 base. Yes you can walk to lift 300m. There is no day lodge at this base to change boots etc or food service so planning is needed or walk in your ski boots and bring snacks. Internet was okay, not super fast but okay. Appliances worked fine. Coffee maker is old school 4 cup drip without any filters provided. All the basics were covered in the kitchen (cutlery, 1 knife, dishware etc). Its warm with a heated floor and wall unit heater. Bathroom was tiny but functional aside from no aerator in faucet (water sprays everywhere). The fan sounds like you're taking off at airport so loud. Its not a romantic get away or private condo. If you are Travelodge/Super 8 motel type probably fine. If you are timeshare/RCI acquainted this will disappoint severly. I contacted ted Vacasa to try and arrive a day early. 20 min on phone (online did not work) and they added to wrong day (after not before). So had to call back as my credit card was charged, another 20 min call plus a call back later. Its not fun dealing with this company. Proximity to the mountain is great. Buildings are dated with popcorn ceilings, 80's appliances and thermostats. Mattresses are comfy, but need replacing as they sink heavily in the middle. The icicles over the balconies are huge, thick an d dangerous, suggesting the roof tops need some serious attention, and noise is VERY easily transmitted between units. This one was much cleaner and well maintained. Overall it was perfect for a few days of skiing and chilling at Blue Mountain. If you are a light sleeper or grouchy about people moving around this property is not for you. You can hear every footstep in the property upstairs. This didn't bother me at all. The only issues were either the people before me or someone nextdoor was frying with oil and I could have used a candle or incense to mask that. However like all smells once you sit in it for a bit it goes away. The only other issues is the hair dryer did.not work but I suspect if I had complained I would have got a new one. Otherwise it had everything I needed and more. The key pad entry needs to key in code and follow by check mark.should revise your instruction. The property looks dated from the exterior. Patio screen door can’t shut. Only one window can be open but the turning device is barely working. Air conditioner, dish washer, bathroom fan and jacuzzi are functional but very noisy. Guess they are all original with the condo, 15-20 years young? And there is no condiments or cooking oil coffee or tea there, get to a quick trip to the groceries. Almost all cottage rental have them. ##### Dan C. Easy parking (during weekdays and off peak season). The bathroom light tends to flicker like a stroke light when on max so that could be checked.
