In the summertime, when you're not swimming in the pool or practicing your serve on the tennis courts, you'll be one mile south of Northwinds Beach on South Georgian Bay and one mile up the road from Monterra Golf (one of five golf courses within a 12-mile drive). The 3 beds was the biggest reason we booked. Only 2 negatives: (1) it's very tight when you come in the door. Not much space to walk between the couch & stools for table/bar. Hard when 4 people all come back from skiing trying to take your boots off. Not a deal breaker, just smaller than pictures show. (2) The chair lift by the condo stops at 4pm & the shuttle to get back to the condo was booked out till 8pm. We weren't expecting not to be able to take the shuttle when we were done skiing & didn't want to wait over an hr. So we had to walk about a mile walk back from the slopes to the condo.Besides those 2 things, condo has everything you need. ##### Andrea T. And the resort does offer a heated pool opened until late. The resort is in need of a paint job but it does not take away from the unit. The one down side would be the two twin beds located on the main level, not comfortable and they did not feel secure. Overall it did not take away from my great experience. The resort is close to everything and the shuttle service into Blue Mountain Village is very accommodating. We had a little trouble with the shuttle passes and figuring out how to reserve, but the lovely ladies in the office were a great help. It will be great once the onsite restaurant opens in the Spring. The condo itself was very well equipped, I would recommend some cooking amenities, such as cooking oil, salt & pepper which would be handy if cooking a meal. ##### Leila J. However when showering it seems as if the hot water wasn’t enough (unit 413) After helping my 5 year old shower around 10 minutes, I went in right after and the water was cold. There seemed to be no more hot water. Condo was clean and nicely appointed. Rental says it can fit six people, but six would be a tight squeeze. Three adults were great, a fourth would be good, more is too many. Stayed during a snow storm and the facility staff were awesome about keeping roads and walkways clear. Disappointments: the door code is very long, and sometimes the electronics wouldn’t let us get in the full code before throwing an error message (we had three people watching/entering the code, it wasn’t us getting it wrong). The facility hot tub/ spa is sized for eight, in a 50+ unit complex. ##### Alexa B. The hot tub is right beside the pool, we misunderstood and thought it was a private hot tub, so my bad. My only complaint would be that the condo didn’t seem like it had been dusted in quite some time. The more we saw, the more it kind of bothered us because of course naturally the question comes up, what else hasn’t been cleaned, the dust was quite evident on mirrors, lamps and shades, decorative pieces, furniture, etc. there was also either a squashed bug or dirt on the wall at the head of the master bed, that really should be removed. So I rated the cleaning as 3 star, but everything else was fine. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this again though, but we are not super picky people and just wanted to have a good time. Our average age in the group was 60ish. Hope this helps. ##### Simone P.
