Good setting, poor condition of rooms
Our room was in a bad state of repair, the restaurant menu was not that appealing, the first time we have been offered tripe in a 4* hotel menu. This hotel should be rated 3* not a 4*

Absolute rip off!
They put us in a room that stunk like smoke from the terrace seating outside. Ask to go on the reception golf side and 1st or 2nd floor. The bathroom is rottiNg away. The breakfast is standard. Can only play golf if you have a handicap licence!!!! €16 for 2hr spa/indoor pool access. Would not stay here again.

I inform you since I think you have had a misunderstanding, that the golf club is not owned by the hotel, it is a municipal club, so we do not set the admission rules. Regarding breakfast, we would like to inform you that the current situation makes it a different breakfast, since not all the products are in sight, but the customer can order what they want. No warm welcome from the receptionist. No complimentary water, coffee/tea or tissues in the room. We expected more upper market spa resort but they have a lot of learn from the other spa resorts.

Must Stay Place
whenever I visit Gijon I stay in this amazing Hotel, friendly staff, very clean and peaceful atmosphere. staff speaks excellent English and even at dinner service and bar communication is not an issue and food is always amazing.

Good hotel close to Gijon city
Location of the hotel is on a golf course, so was quiet at night. The room had a skylight and no windows, so were not able to enjoy the views. We had the option to upgrade to a room with windows, however, the furniture was very outdated. The hotel restaurant had character, the food was about average for the price point. Mixed feelings about the hotel.

Falsely described, not 4 star.
We were disappointed to find out that we had to pay 14.50 euros to use the pool! We have stayed in many places and this is a first! We understand that spa is always additional extra but hotel guests not being able to use the pool is redicilous. The hotel disruption should change as it is incorrect. There was nothing in the small print to say there was a fee. We would not have booked this hotel if we knew. There were no robe or slippers in the room because we did not pay extra to use the spa. Again, for a 4 star hotel to not provide the basics is terrible. There was not even a shower cap! Just shampoo and shower gel. We have stayed in 2 star hotels that has better toiletries. Overall we would not go back and would not recommend unless you play golf and expect nothing else.

Friendly staff but standard hotel
Receptionist and bar staff very friendly. Hotel modern and no character. BE WARNED Unless you have booked a package just using the pool was €14 a day! I felt cheated not to have been told about this before booking. Breakfast is not worth €10. The bar food was very poor as well. Even though I had paid for a third night I left and paid again for a hotel in Gijon (where the breakfast was much better for €5)

Llorea Spa
Sunbathing was prohibited in the grounds of the hotel. It would help to advise guests of this in advance. Incredible value at the bar and restaurant. Golf club opposite is also very good value for food and drink and is very welcoming.

Worst experience on spain.
Male front desk personal was a disaster,parking lot spaces insuficent, Restaurant people so rude, and pictures of the pool that you only can get acces after pay spa 90$ and previus reservations. It si definitley a Scam . Worst experience on Spain. to be honest.

An Outstanding Small Hotel & Spa on a Golf Course
An outstanding small modern hotel located on a municipal golf course east of Gijon, just off the old road from Gijon to Santander. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff! Breakfast is awesome It is worth it to pay for it! Restaurant is nice and food is good The hotel is 10-15 mins from the center of the town( Gijon), so you must have a car if you stay here.

Me gusto la localización. Pero me decepcionó bastante el no poder descansar por la mañana porque el personal de limpieza estaba a la puerta hablando en voz muy elevada y molestaba bastante haciendo imposible el descanso.

Lieu calme vue sur golf
Séjour d'une nuit, chambre agréable, au calme, bonne literie, nous avons mis un peu de chauffage et une couverture.(nuit fraiche de novembre) Seul bemol le rideau occultant un trop petit pour cacher la vue sur l exterieur, notre chambre au rez de chaussé, donnant sur l l'entree de l'hôtel . Se les asignó una habitación triple como solicitaron y es cierto que tiene el baño adaptado para personas de movilidad reducida, pero eso no imposibilita el uso del mismo por el resto de clientes. hotel bonito pero el restaurante flojo
en general el hotel está bien...El restaurante un poco flojo...es decir, para ser un hotel de 4 estrellas los platos son demasiado caros para lo sencillos que son y apenas tiene vinos, Pedí la carta de vinos y me dijeron que casi ningún vino de la carta tenían. Sólo un verdejo, sólo 1 albariño, sólo 1 ribera y solo 1 crianza rioja y nada más, para mi gusto muy escaso

No me gusto. Ves las fotos y parece todo muy bonito (que lo es) pero a mi me toco la peor habitacion seguro. El grifo de la ducha hace ruido. 2 noches de estancia y no iba el ascensor. Encima del colchon habian puesto un sobre colchon (mal para un hotel de 4 estrellas). No volvere, ni lo recomiendo. La chica de recepcion fue muy amable.

Gracias por sus comentarios. Lamentamos las incidencias que haya causado la imprevista avería del ascensor. En cuanto al colchón que menciona, es viscoelástico y suele resultar mucho más cómodo a los huéspedes.

Pésimo descanso
Era un viaje de vacaciones y descanso, y fue lo menos que tuvimos. Tienen las peores camas en las que me he acostado nunca! Viejas, duras y los resortes de las camas están que saltan! Pasé toda la estadía con dolor de espalda, sin contar lo ruidoso que es el hotel por la mala acústica que tienen las habitaciones por la mañana. No nos dejaban dormir!!! Lo unico bonito fue el sitio en donde estaban, no repetiría! Las vacaciones me dejaron adoloridas gracias a este hotel. Y no fue solo nuestra habitación la que tenía estos colchones en tan mal estado, ya que nos cambiaron de habitación a una con camas individuales a ver si mejoraba la situación y fue igual. Unos amigos fueron a quedarse un par de días y su habitación era peor que la nuestra. Fatal!!!!

Difícil llegar. Los servicios de spa del hotel no están disponibles, ni pagando. No había A/A ni calefacción. La única conexión con el exterior es una ventana basculante en el techo.
