Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temps drop into the 40s. • STR Permit #2025-1050 About the Area: Nestled at the San Juan Gateway, Ouray, CO offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year. In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. During the winter season bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, Downhill or Nordic skis and enjoy a wide variety of winter activities. Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. Enjoy a 60-minute scenic drive to Telluride Ski Resort for a full day of the top five runs in America according to Conde Nast. The town of Ouray has a wide variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, unique shops and Ouray Hot Springs. A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We were able to walk anywhere that we wanted to go in Ouray - the hot springs were about a 5-10 minute walk, and downtown was about 15 minutes. Compared to other places we have stayed in Ouray CO, the decor was a little plain and didn't have as much of a mountain vibe. However, it was very comfortable, had a nice open concept layout, felt spacious, and had everything one could want - including heated floors! Particularly, it had a lot of great kitchen gear, for those who like to cook - for example a spiralizer and a crepe maker. It was very clean and neat. Good overall experience. Only drawback is that we had two cars and had to park one behind the other because there is no street parking and no other parking available, so sometimes we had to switch parking spots depending on who was leaving first. ##### Raquel W. Our location was near the river, which made for peaceful and relaxing mornings. The area is very quiet and perfect for walking — we loved exploring everything on foot. There’s so much to see! We were just a short walk from the hot springs and Main Street, which was super convenient.
