Just north of the townhome in the common area of the River Park complex, there is a private picnic area right on the river with a picnic table and charcoal grill. Ouray offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year! In the spring, summer, and fall months visitor's enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. You'll love the summer music series in Ouray's Fellin Park! In the winter months bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, or Nordic skis and enjoy downhill skiing in Telluride, a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray! Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. After a day of adventure enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, and the ever popular Ouray Hot Springs. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of making the booking. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. Our unit was clean and easy to find and easy access to everything. Our major complaint is that this is 3 floors and I did not see that listed on the information in the listing. We are 73 and 71 yrs old and carrying our luggage up 3 flights to the bedroom was not too convenient. We are not in bad health but still was not a pleasant situation. I wish I had seen that on the listing, I would have not chosen this particular place. Coming out of the master bedroom one is about 3 feet away from the stairs going down. My husband was slightly dizzy due to the altitude and it was quite nerve racking to be so close to stairs going down from our bedroom. We did not stay both nights due to this! I was not dizzy but it was still disconcerting to have the stairs so close to our bedroom door. Wish this would have been listed clearly so older people dont rent this! ##### Myra V. The property manager was very helpful in trying to accommodate us and switched us to another unit. The new unit was the same floor plan, clean and acceptable but not newly renovated like the unit we booked. We were given a discount for the difference. I would rent here again. ##### Eda G. It was a quiet neighborhood. We just went around to see the towns and its surroundings. The only bad part about there is the people there, they are not so welcoming. From everyone there only 5 were somewhat nice.They didn’t give that much information on sightseeing or anything at all. But other than that everything was great 😊 . It's right next door to the hot springs and walkable to downtown and many trailheads. We enjoyed the extra touches like toiletries, starter packs of laundry detergent, dish soap, pet waste bags.
