No black out shade or curtain, but clean and quiet

The room was clean and pleasant, and quiet but I was very unhappy with the fact that the only curtain was a wispy sheer. It didn't provide privacy and there was no black out shade to keep the room dark. I have really enjoyed staying in Hampton Inns up until now, but that would be a real disincentive to stay in the future if that is a chain-wide change.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to give us some feedback. I am glad you found the room clean and pleasant, but I am surprised that you could not find the blackout curtains. All of our guest rooms have black out curtains. Perhaps they were pushed back. Did you let the front desk know they were missing, if they were missing? Had they been missing we would have certainly fixed the issue.
