"We enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and professional. We’d like to especially thank Talie for being extremely helpful. The gentlemen at the front door were very courteous and helpful. The bistro was lovely as well. We had a wonderful breakfast there. Unfortunately our stay was too short to enjoy the other amenities. "Beautiful Historical hotel and Views. Classy comfortable rooms. Close to everything. Right next to Parliament Hill, Numerous Restaurants and Entertainment to be found in the surrounding area, from Sparks Street to the Market area. The Hotel Restaurant , “La Terrace, is outdoors , has great views, good food and courteous staff. It was a little noisy and chaotic in the lobby and in the Room I was assigned- would be the only negative. But, it was a busy, high season, end of June. So, it’s not that surprising. I did get a pretty good rate and deal, Great room with a Gorgeous view of Parliament hill and the Ottawa River. So, overall, It was great value and experience. "

"The hotel was switching from Novotel to Doubletree. There were a few tiny hiccups but the staff were quick and apologetic to the issue.
