This was the worst stay in Ottawa. There are much better hotels that are more affordable that Days Inn. The room was in terrible condition: broken furniture, torn curtain. And the staff said - "You can complain to the management tomorrow" without even trying to explain the condition of the room. The hotel was full of people "celebrating" if you know what I mean. Never again I will stop here.

Booking was very easy and the staff were very friendly. The room was as expected with a very comfortable bed. We were flying out early the next morning and we were able to park our car for a very fair price and they have a shuttle service to the airport. Their breakfast is open at 4:30 am so very convenient for those that have to catch an early flight and have a quick bite to eat. The furniture could use some updating though as some was quite worn.

Unfriendly, unhelpful staff as soon as we arrived. Pool not working, fitness room closed, dvd player not working, outdoor access key card not working. We asked what they had to keep 13/14 year old boys entertained - their reponse was that they could watch tv. No where near the relaxing weekend get away we were looking for. Breakfast closed at 10:30 instead of the advertised 11:00 - could not even get a coffee to go. Will never stay here again - save your money!!

During my recent stay, I appreciated the complimentary airport shuttle service and found the breakfast menu and timing to be very convenient. However, I did notice that the room decor and facilities could benefit from an upgrade. Despite this, my overall experience was pleasant and peaceful.

We found blood stains on one of our duvets. When we went to reception to bring this up, the response was mediocre, they just changed the one duvet and left the rest of the room untouched (did not even bother to check the other bed). To our surprise, there was a blood stain on the other duvet! We have pictures of our findings. Even then, they only made the beds and the garbage bins were not even emptied. Also, the room looked dated and there was a blanket inside a drawer that smelled awful. Will not return to this property.

Besides my bathroom not being as clean as it should be, especially post covid, you think these hotel chains would do a little better, especially with online reviews and people showing as much transparency as possible, the room overall was fine, it was spacious, it was decently lit, and it had a nice big screen TV which I really liked.

I booked the hotel online specifically because they had a indoor pool and I was staying with my two young kids. When I arrived, the pool had been closed for over a week. It would be nice to have known ahead of time that a part of their facility which you pay for is not in service. Very disappointing especially for my kids. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection too.

The hotel room and staff are good. But I was given no warning the pool was closed. An email would havebeen nice. My child was super excited for a swim and was very disappointed. I booked some time ago and no warning up. Once known maintenance came up, an email would have been the least they could have done.

On the website they advertise they have a gym and pool facility and there in none of that. They only tell you when you come in that the pool do not work.

I was very disappointed that the pool and fitness room were closed. We came from the north (land of no pools) and booked the hotel specifically because it had a pool and fitness room. In fact my daughter put on her swim suit under her clothes in eager anticipation of use of the pool on checkin. There was no indication on the web that the pool was closed. The receptionist did not have any empathy for our situation either.

Stayed here when it opened what a surprise to see how it has degenerated. The pool was shut down with no notification on the booking site. Too many worn out and broken things to mention. I’d say this facility is on its last legs. Sad.

Stayed here for one night before flying out the next morning. We needed to leave by 4:30am so didn't think we would benefit from the included breakfast. The front desk told us that breakfast is out around 4-4:30 and sure enough it was and we were able to have a bite before leaving for Vegas! Would highly recommend this property.

We booked here for a cheer competition but our athletes were unable to use the pool and fitness centre as they were closed for some reason. We were not told in advance they would be closed. Hotel refuses to give a partial refund.
