The hotel doesn't have its own parking so if you're there on a night when the area is busy you have to park a couple blocks away. Byward is riddled with junkies and the homeless if I were a less physically capable person I would be concerned for my safety walking around there alone.

Hello, and thank you for your feedback. With all of the construction around us and our own as we build a second tower, we are slowly losing our self parking lot. This will be replaced with Valet parking in the very near future until our parking garage is completed. Have a delightful day

Fantastic experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and modern. Complementary wine, pop, and water. The cocktail lounge was wonderful and has a great view. 10 out of 10

The information online is misleading. I chose to stay here because it says parking available but turned out parking wasn’t available. It made my stay inconvenient.

Great clean hotel in the Byward Market area. Room are larger and modern. Common areas are maintained and clean. There is construction behind the hotel. Some rooms are impacted by the noise and the hotel provided ear plugs in the room. The noise wasn’t that bad.

This hotel is alright…your definitely paying for convenience. Easy getting around if you stay here. We got a nice view of the construction going on next door lol. There is parking at the back of the building which we paid 35$ for a 24hr parking timeframe. This is not a hotel I would go out of my way too book at next time im in the area.

The hotel and the staff were great! Parking was $35/night right next door. Room was large and clean with beautiful views of the sunset from our all glass wall on the 7th floor. They were even better from the rooftop patio. Would have been nice if it was in use with the fire pits, but understandable with it still being chilly/time of year. Didn’t eat at the hotel restaurants, more ventured and explored the area and local food surrounding it. This is where it was more unsafe. ESP at night with homeless everywhere panhandling and walking behind you as you walk. Some folks with mental health concerns and substance abuse very obviously mixed in there. Nothing the hotel can do and had a security officer in the front lobby in the evenings to help as much as they can. It’s an Ottawa concern and not hotel.

Stayed there a few times on Business, it was decent and convenient. Last time I stayed I gave them My license plate for parking as I always have. I ended up getting a parking ticket for the first and second day. The front desk clerk told me they would sort it out and get back to me. When I returned to follow up, the front end manager refused to help and then said the Hotel Manager was too busy and too important to help me. I will never stay there again, and will be sure to warn others about the arrogance of the staff.

Great visit. Staff was awesome. 16th bar for night cap was perfect. Stayed open past 11! View was east. Next time will ask for west. Prepaid parking was refunded after it got too full.

The hotel is very modern, the room feels new, and the hotel staff were very accommodating. Check-in, arranging for in and out parking and check-out were effortless. The hotel is situated right across Byward Market and is walking distance to most sites. We upgraded to a higher floor room facing the Parliament, making for a very scenic view, especially during sunset.

Good location. Walking distance to almost everything needed. Restaurants, bars, shops convenience stores and coffee. With that being said, it’s also noisy at night but the hotel provides earplugs. TV was a struggle to use. Staff was friendly and helpful. We tried both restaurants and the food was just ok.
