The flat is located in an enviable position: we are in the historic center of Ostuni, a short distance from all points of interest, easily reachable on foot, in an area equipped with every essential service for a comfortable stay, with clubs, restaurants and numerous local craft shops. Ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful White City of Salento! The apartment of about 30 sqm is located on the ground floor of a building with an independent entrance from the street (there are two steps to access it). The internal space is divided as follows: \- KITCHEN CORNER equipped with gas hob, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, moka and gas oven \- LIVING AREA with dining table, sofa and TV \- SLEEPING AREA on a mezzanine accessible by a staircase, equipped with a double bed and a chest of drawers \- BATHROOM with wc, bidet and shower box. Additional facilities available for the guests: UNLIMITED WIFI, Pinguino air conditioner, fan, washing machine, mosquito nets, drying rack, iron and ironing board. Towels and linen are included (with additional linen optional for a fee). ATTENTION: the apartment is located within the ZTL. The apartment is at guests' disposal! All identity documents of the guests must be presented on arrival as required by Italian law. Please note that check-in after the specified time must be agreed directly with the structure and provide a supplement as follows: \- 21.30 - 23.00: € 25.00; \- 23.00 - 24.00: € 30.00; \- 24.00 - 01.30: € 40.00. The city tax of 1.00 euro per night per person will be charged in cash, for the first 5 nights, as provided by the municipality of Ostuni. Ostuni is located in the province of Brindisi at more than 200 meters above the sea, in Murgia, and it's one of the most renowned cities in Salento. The White City is named after the color of a large part of its buildings, mostly in the historical center. In the past, because of the plague, the walls of the houses were covered with lime, in order to make them antiseptic. Hence the characteristic white color that makes Ostuni unique and iconic. The historical center of Ostuni, called by its inhabitants as La Terra, is characterized by a maze of winding roads, little squares and gardens, alleys and glimpses of the Adriatic sea. The lower part of the city is surrounded by the old city wall, where the only two still intact entrances are located: Porta Nova and Porta San Demetrio. On top of the hill you can find the Cathedral, with its large rose window divided in 24 parts, Palazzo Vescovile and the old Seminario. Another place of interest is the Museum of Preclassic Civilizations of the Southern Murgia, where the cast of a pregnant woman, Delia, who lived 25.000 years ago and was found in a cave near the city in 1991, is preserved. Among the most interesting exhibits there are pottery and ornaments, flints, stone tools, from the paleolithic till the age of the metals. One of the main attraction for tourists in Apulia is definitely the coast of Ostuni, where you can find Rosa Marina, Monticelli and Costa Merlata beach areas. And, to conclude, don't forget to try all the typical dishes! Main distances: \- Bari-Karol Wojtyla International Airport: 90 km \- Brindisi Airport (Salento Airport): 36 km \- Ostuni station: 2.5 km. ATTENTION: the apartment is located within the ZTL, be careful if you are traveling by car.
