Lejlighed med udsigt og altan

Vi fik en stor ferielejlighed i Haus Regina istedet. Det var super med stue, køkken og altan med udsigt over søen og bjergene. Morgenmad på Gasthaus zur Post var okay.

Not impressed

We had booked a room in the hotel for two adults and a child. The price was quite high--even for the area, with which we are familiar--and we expected the room to reflect the three stars the hotel has and the price we had paid. Instead we were taken down the road to an overflow apartment--perhaps they had overbooked-- and housed in a tiny and very hot attic apartment (under the roof) with one very small window in the roof of the bedroom. It was a good thing it wasn't raining, because at 86.9 degrees farenheit in the tiny bedroom, that window had to remain open. We had paid about half for a much bigger apartment for five persons in a nice ski resort in the Austrian alps over Christmas. The breakfast was good, though. Ossiach is one big strip--the towns on either end looked more promising.
