I love everything about this hotel. The sea view is breath taking. My kids spent hours snorkeling around the hotel . The food was good. I am so pleased with the service.

The hotel itself is lovely and clean, we had a nice view of the sea from our room and enjoyed the view for our breakfast as well. There is not much around the area to do or see so we ended up eating at the hotel. The menu is good and the food was nice.

Beautiful hotel with great onsite facilities. Loved the decor, design and food service. Only complaint was there is no lift and we needed to climb 3 storeys to our room, not ideal when you have kids under 2 and seniors with your group.

I had a phenominal and unforgetable 2-day stay at the Marc Vannelli. The food, drinks, service, and overall atmosphere were supurb. I was easily connected with a very knowledgable, well spoken (English) tour guide, and a bike. I wish I had stayed longer as there is so much to see and do from here!

Loved the oceanfront location and architecture, funky place. Pool with steps to ocean was cool. Pool wasn't deep but enough to keep cool and service was great. Breakfast was good and included. Rooms where clean, beds standard. Downsides, we were in a triple and layout was very tight. Double and single beds were together with little room to get around and for suitcases, but was only for one night. Bathroom also very small, could barely get in and close the door and the shower leaked. Hot water system was confusing, my friends couldn't figure out how to get hot water, I managed okay. No room for putting your things in the bathroom and keeping dry from leaking shower. Be aware the stairs are very large, awkward, staff were helpful with luggage and water coolers available and coffee which is great. About 20 minutes by tricycle to Whale sharks and Tumalog falls, easy enough to get a tricycle. Nothing much in the area, needed to get a tricycle to get food, but there is a restaurant on site and it's good. Views are awesome. And there is a rooftop for more views. pina colada were reasonable also.

Wondercul, modern, and unique! Absolutely loved this place. From the rooftop patio to the pool, from the rooms to the plant collection, a wonderful lodging choice. And mr. Vannelli was very kind too! Sunsets and sunrises spectacular. Very small detail suggestions to improve even more - water pools outside the shower (fix this), mirror too small and placed too low in bathroom, and should supply towels at the pool.

We really enjoyed staying here. The property is less than a year old. The staff was great and very helpful. The restaurant food was very good. They only do cash, so be prepared for that. Great showers, comfortable beds, and good air conditioning. Outstanding view and access to the ocean. Great value. Be aware this location is not particularly close to the whale sharks, but it was manageable. We would stay here again without question.

Marc Vannelli is quite beautiful and probably the nicest hotel in Oslob. The rooms are quite small but they are modern and very clean. This place is very cool and the design is funky! Unfortunately there are only stairs to the rooms, if you have mobility issues maybe find alternative, but they carry your bags up and down so we didn’t mind. They arranged our visit to the whale sharks with Kenneth and that was perfect. Their guide is the best, use them for a guaranteed experience. Make sure you go to the churches while in Oslob! This area is on the water and is SO BEAUTIFUL. The staff are amazing at Marc Vannell! Salamat!

This is a nice clean property. The food was excellent and priced reasonable. The Hotel does not have a elevator which makes it difficult if your older to climb the stairs . The staff needs training and needs to smile and be more friendly. Staff seemed bothered to serve you . You could see it on their facial expression .

Fabulous location with the waves washing around the hotel. A surprise to see turtles swimming close by. Very clean hotel. Great deck for a meal and drinks. We had an early dinner, large servings, food was good. Nothing really close by. We stayed overnight to do whale shark swimming in Oslob as it was a 4 1/2 hour drive there and back from Cebu.

Modern beauty on a rustic coast

This property is beautiful, new and very photogenic. The bad: if you are not a fan of stairs, this is not a place for you. No elevator and huge stairs that spiral beautifully up the center. The Good: many things! Gorgeous architecture. Very Instagramable! Lovely views. The restaurant is a wonderful plus with fantastic food.

Myself and two other couples stayed here for two night. The hotel itself is nice and new on the outside but inside left much to be desired. I think they were aiming to be very “instagramy” but the design choices inside made the quality fall short. Pool and restaurant area were beautiful, however the menu was very limited with a lot of the food options on the menu not being available. Breakfast was good. Rooftop bar was not open/ completed. Going up to the rooms the stairs were massive/ sketchy to walk down with no proper handrails. Our rooms were smaller than expected, AC worked well. For all 3 couples the bathrooms were the main issue. All 3 were very small/ cramped, had no mirror or counter space for hand soap (not that it was offered). The fixtures in the bathrooms in each of ours all looked incomplete and there was a huge issue with the showers leaking. Each of our rooms had puddles outside the shower, pretty much flooding the small bathrooms. When we asked for more towels the staff wanted to charge us 150 php each for additional ones even though we were trying to clean up their leaky bathrooms. Additionally our shower head spurted water out the top of it and all over the bathroom. Be certain to bring cash if you stay here as they also don’t have a card machine… what new hotel doesn’t have a card machine?! Our other disappointment was that we were supposed to have queen sized rooms on our second night (booked two nights separately) but all three rooms were doubles.

The hotel is located on the main highway so you will hear traffic noises during the day but it gets quieter in the evening and overnight. Great pool and oceanfront views!
