This was a quick stay from our way back to Switzerland from Bergen Norway. We were tired and just wanted a comfortable bed. We took the airport train to this location. It was the fast train and we got to the hotel quickly. About a 5 mins walk from the train station. Easy. The hotel front desk agent was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation we had upon check in (Danish man working in Norway). He was very welcoming to us. He also upgraded our room for us out of kindness and it was simply exquisite. We loved our hotel room so much that we stayed in for the rest of the day and ordered room service from the hotel, which was equally amazing. It was a memorable stay and would highly recommend it. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Oslo for a longer stay.

The hotel experience was great. The location in excellent, The breakfast was acceptable. Their laundry charges were exorbitant. They also added 50 percent to laundry charges for yet to be explained reasons! Laundry cost for two tee shirts and a blouse was around $120. Be careful!

Lovely boutique hotel
Beautiful and sophisticated boutique hotel in a convenient yet quiet area. Staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose Hotel Continental again.

The beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows were the best we have ever used. The hotel is right downtown and close to all important things in Oslo. We have been all over the world and this might be our favourite one! Too bad we were only there for one night. It is pricey but for us worth it! My wife especially liked the brunch.

A Wonderful Luxury Hotel
The Hotel Continental is a truly fabulous 5 star hotel. Staff are outstanding, the property is luxurious, the location is excellent, and breakfast…whether buffet or “to order” is great. The Hotel Continental exceeded expectations.

Sad to give such a nice hotel a low rating, but one of the primary functions of a hotel is a place to sleep and you cannot do that here before 3am due to the loud thumping bass of the bar music across the street from the hotel. I can sleep through almost anything, but this one was tough since it is t the conversations or the music but the bass thumping that is coming up. It was louder than my white noise app and did not stop until 3am. Facilities, location, and service are excellent here—just a noise issue

A very elegant hotel. All the appointments are luxurious like towels, sheets, soap, etc. in addition, a most helpful and accommodating staff. Buffet breakfast was excellent.

NOISE, NOISE...This is a high quality hotel, decor is lavish and the ambiance is of high quality. BUT, as its basic function is to provide lodgings it falls very short. If your room is on the Klingenbergata side of the building you can expect not to sleep until the Macdonalds closes (at 4am on weekends). Until it closes, there is screaming (no exaggeration) girls and shouting guys constantly. You may think this is not the fault of the hotel, rightly, but when I mentioned it to the front desk, their response was 'yes we know, we might need to do a bit more to sound insulate' but they do not inform or warn guests before you pay around £350 per night for a room. I have stayed in many cities and they all have some city noise, this I dont mind and expected in busy city centres, but I may as well have had a party in my room, the noise was so extreme. Choose another hotel if you want sleep, at any hour, or join the party at Macdonalds till it closes.
