The hostel seemed newly refurbished as it all looked really crisp and clean. It is located about 10 minutes from a train station and about 50 meters away from a shopping street. Close by, semi-hidden, there are two local bars (Izakaya) filled with locals who welcome foreigners. One is named Minato Pizza (delicious pizza's and food in general) and standing bar Kimura. The standing bar is run by a family.
