I like most are the onsen and spa facilities they. Unfortunately when the I stated at this hotel was under renovations. Also, guests are not allow ware shoes around the building even in the hotel room. The hotel also does not assist clients to call the taxi and the guests need to go out the hotel or on-line to call the taxi, it is very inconvenient for someone can not access the cell phones.

Great onsen stay, overall satisfied
Goods things: 1) Magnificent onsens. Very large and comfortable. I managed to try both 4/F European style and 6/F Asian style; both worth the visit. All the pictures of the onsen you see online - they are reflection of the truth, if reality wasn't even better. They operate overnight (only close for ~2hrs 8-10am.) 2) Most staff were nice. Very limited command of English, yet they would translate with cellphone right away to communicate with you; so overall didn't have too much issues. Would like to especially acknowledge Ms Tonokai - we had a little problem in the room during the stay (minor stuff), she immediately accompanied me to my room to investigate. This was talking about midnight. 3) Near to subway station; as long as you choose the right exit, elevators etc available on the way so no a problem even if large suitcases. 4) Within 10mins walk to JR and Nankai. 5) Restaurants available till late. Not especially tasty but price was fair. 6) Generous, reception offered to let us use the onsens before check-in time and after check-out. 7) Donki, Daiso, convenient store within a few mins walk. Some room for improvement: 1) The logistic was a bit clunky for hotel customers as the rules were designed for onsen day visitors - having to take off shoes is annoying; should have a path from hotel building to outside without crossing onsen area. Also the pass to leave hotel is unnecessary, could have just used the key card. 2) Would be nice to provide bottle water

Spa was great. The shiatsu massage was excellent. Nothing to eat there for vegetarian people. The meatless was so thin and felt like we were sleeping on the floor with no mattress. The staff was young and unhappy. It cost extra for kids to go on slides in the pool and go to kids playground. Stone spa is extra cost as well.

Staff were absolutely appauling. Check-in was painful, being herded through a locked gate. We were treated disgustingly when we checked out being sent round in circles with 4 different desks and everyone telling us something different even just to leave the building. At one point security coming after us when left, Ive never been treated so badly in my life. I was fuming and it spoilt our time in Osaka.

Have questioned about putting the luggages in the hotel after checking out, we were confirmed by expedia's staff. Disappointed to know that no such arrangement can be made. The hotel's check out time is 10:00, it may cause huge inconvenience if the guests need to put the luggages for short before heading to the airport.

Good stay for onsen
Spent 1 night for onsen. Our stay is very nice. There are plenty of things to do, onsen pool sauna stone spa massage restuarant. Wish we had more than 1 day here.

Very good hotel with big spa! Surprise that breakfast is not free. Only worth staying when there is a promotion. Other then this, I think is slightly over price. The reception was not that friendly.

Filthy room.
It was our second time at Spa World (first being in 2013) and we decided to stay on site to fully enjoy the onsen park on our last day in Japan. The room was disgusting - the walls has not being wiped/washed in ages, the ventilation shafts were covered by an inch of moldy dust, the carpet and curtains were covered with stains and cig burns, the supposedly non-smoking room reek cig smoke. The toilet seat and bowl were not cleaned either. Only 2 pillows for 3 guests... A big and expensive disappointment.

Great hotel. But you need to know how to onsen!
As westerners who had not previously been to an onsen, this may have been a bit of a trial by fire. There is not a lot of guidance in written English and, whilst the staff were as helpful as possible I believe it is presumed that patrons know how to operate and behave in a Japanese onsen. If you do not, be sure to google it before booking. It is an interesting experience and not to be missed. But very, very Japanese!

Unnecessarily complicated...
This can be a descent hotel if your up for experiencing something different like not having a bed and sleeping on a futon. This is also good if you don't want to have a bathroom in your room to shower in and only have a tiny toilet. There were no black out blinds or curtain which was joke because the room stayed light from the city lights when it was time to go to bed. I'm thinking about the positives but I'm just pist that we paid $200 a night for this. Worst place ever...

Best decision to stay in an overnight spa
The price I paid for this hotel at this site was very very worth it because the price you would pay on their own Japanese site is 2-3x more expensive. I would love to stay in the Japanese style room but this site only offer Western room. I did not regret as the price was extremely worth it. Its clean and big and the best thing I have ever done for staying in an overnight spa. My daughter and I loved the experience and will go back there in a heartbeat.

The room was big and spacious. The bathrooms were clean. However, there were mosquitoes in the room and it was quite annoying. The front desk were friendly enough but as we did not speak Japanese, there were quite a lot of hand gestures involved. Overall, very convenient if you wanted to spend a day in the facilities and not travel about after.

This is one of the best hotel we have ever stayed. The room is spacious, and comfortable. The public bath (Spa World) is super. The location is easy to reach as well. Great for family and couple.

Great choice!
The room is big with reasonable price. The location is just few stops after Namba station, it is convenient if you always take subway at Osaka. The only thing is there is NO wifi provided, thats probably the only thing I would like the hotel to install wifi lan soon.

The room was big, but inconvenience as you need to remove shoes before entering the lobby to get to your room. No wi-Fi available and I left my neck pillow on the bed in the room, when I return the next day to checked. They says they don't have it.

One night is good enough.
Stayed for just a night at spa world which I felt was just enough. Room was pretty regular but they have all amenities ready for you including facial wash, hair spray etc. Spa access is inclusive but you probably be soaking around for just about an hour or so, anything more will be too much. Pool level is fun which you can spend couple of hours more up there. Food.. I would rather head out to the streets for a meal.

This hotel is together with a Spa center, there was not much hotel service. Staff cannot really speak English. You have to start taking off your shoes when you entered the reception area, carry your luggage and shoes together for a distance which is not convenient. Hotel room is big, not much information inside the room written in English. Spa area totally no English information. Hotel guess has free access to Spa area, this is the only thing that I like for staying in this hotel, but actually you can also stay other hotel and come for spa by paying entry fee. So next time I will do so.

Relatively cheap hotel with troublesome procedures
I was originally planning to make a stay for 1 person and had an additional person join me later. Prices on expedia was the same for 1 or 2 person thus, I assumed it was okay and free to have another person. At the counter, they said I only made reservation for 1 and requested that I pay an equivalent of what I had paid for an additional person. It sounded ridiculous at that point, so I tried calling expedia up. After around 30mins of attempting to get expedia, they agreed to let us in for free this time only. There was troublesome procedures of removing shoes from locker and getting an exit ticket every time we needed to leave the hotel. However room was spacious and clean and onsen was great.

No wifi and no luggage storage service
Before I went for this hotel, I actually emailed the hotel staff and ask if they have Wifi because I saw some reviews that they do not have. But the staff replied me yes. And I even asked if it is alright to store the luggages for half a day as I will only be leaving for Tokyo in late afternoon. The staff replied saying that I can store the luggages till i leave the hotel. But after I went there, apparently, it was only JAPAN phone has the wifi service. As a tourist, why would I have a Japan phone? And the luggage storage only last till the moment I step out of the hotel. Who will stay in the hotel from early morning till late afternoon to wait for the time to go Tokyo? But they are firmed in refusing to help store the luggages even though they have space.

Best Stay in Osaka
You can enjoy world spas and massage all around the clock. I totally felt relaxed and comfortable with my stay here in Spa World. Totally recommended! If there is a chance, I will definitely return back again!

This was my last night in Osaka, and wanted to relax in the Spa before i leave. Among all the hotel i stay during my trip, the receptionist at this hotel is the rudest. No smile, no greeting. The Spa were great.

Loved the spa!
We stayed here for both the hotel and spa. Had a wonderful experience. Enough so that even though we only stayed at the hotel one night, we came back the next two days for the spa. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.
