Not too soft and not too firm. I was really surprised at how clean the beds and bathrooms were. The living area downstairs is nice and cozy. I was able to chat with others and even met new travel buddy. I'm a chill Texas girl and it was fun meeting people from so many different backgrounds like Argentina, New Zealand, and Korea.
