The window was bordered up so you couldn’t even open it for fresh air. The linen was clean and the cups/cutlery were packaged so we’re safe to use but the room was a bit dusty and tired. The lady that we met was amazing, she did our breakfast which was very sweet and served to our room at our requested time, she offered us her umbrella to borrow and also kept our luggage until we collected them later. She was very kind and welcoming and feel we only stayed because of her. Breakfast was delicious, service was good but staff doesnt speak much if at all English (understandable). The room was very dated, the window was broken but covered, several shower tiles were chipped/broken and my side of the bed was broken and creaked and cracked pretty bad, it's seen some action. There is music playing in the hallways to muffle room sounds lol. Overall it was almost what we expected at a great price. Location was awesome too with a station less than a block away. Could it use a facelift? Absolutely! Do I care enough to not return? Hell no. Would definitely return and recommend.
