The space INTERIOR \----------------------- Beautiful log cabin interior including: → Main floor with full kitchen, dining area, nursery/study/quiet room, half bath, and master bedroom (with king bed and ensuite bathroom) with ensuite bathroom. →Kids room with day bed → Loft with pool table → Basement with 4 bedrooms and 1 full his and her bath. Bathroom has tub and shower. 3 bedrooms have king beds, the 4th has 2 queen beds Master bedroom has personal balcony. We have enough of beds to sleep 13 people, if you have more people you’re welcome to use the air mattresses that are provided or you can sleep on the couch. The main floor is easily accessible from the outside. It is all but handicapped-accessible with only about 2 steps into the house. EXTERIOR \----------------------- → Hot tub. →30\`x60\` pickleball court → Firepit with sitting area → Grill to enjoy a relaxing meal → Plenty of outdoor space for kids to run around. → Yard to play sports in THE AREA \----------------------- → Snowmobiling and skiing is popular. 10 min to Liberty Moutain. → Plenty of hiking in the area. Some within 10 min and a lot within 30 min. A simple search of \`walking trails in orrtanna pa\` brings up a lot of options. → Lots of state forest and hunting ground in the area. It really is great year round home Guest access ● Entire space is included. Please make yourself at home. ● Space is accessible via a personalized code provided after booking. You can self-checkin upon arrival and come and go as you wish. ● Space is yours and only yours. No one else will be present. Other things to note ● The cabin is in a wooded area and you will encounter bugs. We do what we can to keep them at bay but we cannot guarantee a bug-free experience. ● This is a remote location ● We allow for more guests than what each bedroom can sleep. Just so you are aware. There are couches and you can always bring a few extra blankets or sleeping bags for the floor. ● Other than a few steps at front door, the place is handicapped accessible. ● On a 3 acre wooded lot but can see neighbors through the trees. We do have a YouTubeTV description on our TVs which should have almost every game and also has plenty of shows to watch. (the TVs tend to disconnect from WIFI occasionally, but all you have to do is go to the settings and reconnect again) But please remember to unplug and enjoy the outdoors with your friends and family. Messaging on Airbnb is the best way to interact, however my number is available for emergencies. I try to be available 24/7 Hello! We are excited to host you during your stay! All of the positive comments you read for the property are speaking the truth. There were a number of little add ons that showed attention to detail for guest comfort. Three different kinds of coffee pots A Keurig,an espresso maker, and a drip coffee pot. With flavored syrups supplied by the property owner which is just ONE of the little touches that just add to enjoyment. The property is gorgeous outside and in, it is just far enough out of Gettysburg that you are feeling as if you are out in a peaceful serene area and is obly 15 minutes to Gettysburg and you are in the middle of town. We had some issues on check in night with the lock keypad but the owner was unbelievably responsive and I would not say 1 bad thing about that experience. He did everything he could to make sure we got in and had what we needed. So the true test of a VRBO property is what happens if there is a problem and how the owner handles it and I would say Elmer gets 100 percent positkve feedback on that., I hope we have the opportunity to stay at this property again with a big group because I would definitely love it. It is one of the better VRBO experiences I've had and I have stayed at several If you are looking for a property in the are that can acoommodate a large group. The shower curtain was covered in mold and mildew. Kitchen faucet and cupboards were broken and drawers were filthy inside. My cousin had a camera scanner and every mirror beeped in all bathrooms. The children’s bedroom set off the scanner around the light switch. The place was clean and had everything you could need in the bathrooms and kitchens. The host was very responsive and nice. The listing was extremely accurate. The house is unbelievable - with plenty of room, places to relax, and activities like the pool room/game room and outside hot tub, soaking tub, and fire pit. It was an awesome home for hosting our extended family gathering for Christmas - 13 people ranging from grandparents to 3rd graders. The host also provided wonderful little touches - little bags of snacks, a decorated Christmas tree, wood for the firepit, soaps/shampoos in the bathroom, etc. It's very quiet on the mountain and peaceful. Several apple orchards are along the drive up. There are walking paths a short drive away at Micheaux State Forest; Gettysburg & Fairfield are 15 minute drives We would highly recommend this house for a big group looking for a mountain retreat to relax. ##### Doug A.
