Your search is over. Welcome to your family memory vacation home at Windsor Island Luxury Resort! This immaculate 7-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom oasis is perfectly setup to make your family’s Orlando holiday truly magical and memorable, enjoying all that there is to offer. We are owned and managed by one family. We love Disney, Universal, and Orlando just like you. You will always have direct access to me as the owner. As you enter your gathering house you are met with the feeling of openness as you move from the foyer, into the kitchen and dining room and family gathering room, passing by personally selected décor hand-picked to make you feel at home yet remind you that you are at a world known destination. Each space melds perfectly into the next. This open floor plan provides an incredible view out to the lanai and the relaxing and entertaining private pool and spa area through the sliding doors. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your culinary delights including Keurig Duo, hot water kettle, slow cooking pot, and Mickey Waffle maker. We do not leave you wanting for any utensil. The meals you prepare are well-served on the granite counter space for bar seating and the large dining area table. You can even bring your family outside as you enjoy the expansive unblocked view of sunrises and moonrises and other heavenly events. We provide paper towels, trash bags, and dish pods for your entire holiday. And for the day or evening you choose to pamper yourself further, hire our colleague and friend Chef Kegon to come and provide a full 3 course dinner or scrumptious brunch for you and your family, adding to your memories. At the end of your day in the parks or even on days out of the parks, unwind and relax in the complimentary heated pool and spa as you are provided with an unending view that also provides a view of multiple Disney Park fireworks shows nightly. This is an added amenity that few can provide. Imagine yourself arising before the others as you enjoy a cup of coffee while relaxing in the heated spa watching the sunrise or even hot air balloons dotting the sky. Our outdoor space provides also the possibility of viewing a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral. Your outdoor space provides a large propane grill, use of which is also complimentary and this space is more private than most as there are no rear neighbors allowing for a private oasis in the midst of multiple amenities at your fingertips. Our Ohana Gathering House provides a large comfortably and personally appointed gathering space where multiple family generations can gather to talk, catch up, or watch a large selection of entertainment on the huge 85 inch Samsung 4K screen outfitted with above basic cable as well as Firestick with multiple apps, including Peacock for EPL viewing. The Owner’s En Suite provides for first floor accommodations with luxury and comfort. The room is well decorated and has a large bathroom that provides access to the lanai. Each King bedroom has a 55 inch firestick tv with cable and multiple apps for all your viewing possibilities at the end of a day out. Also on the first floor is the laundry room, that allows for quick drying of bathing suits and towels, or full laundry needs with provided laundry pods stocked for your stay. We also have a family hallway and invite families to bring their own family crest or shield to hang in our gallery for posterity When you arrive and head upstairs passed the young child safety gates each family member picks out their own personal space from the remaining 6 bedrooms. This steps open up to the Avengers game room which has been hand painted by a local artist and is outfitted with side by side by side Tvs each with its own Xbox gaming console and one with a PS4 console so you can compete side by side utilizing our high speed >400Mbs internet. These consoles are hard wired and not wifi dependent. The game room is furnished with beanbags for game players and ample seating for every age group in your family to enjoy time together. The game room is completed with an air hockey table to challenge other family members as well as a large sized Connect Four. The six upstairs bedrooms are setup to appeal to families traveling together and multigenerational families by combining 2 King Suites with a nearby Themed Bunk suites as well as 2 more king en suites. 2 King Bed En suites sit at the front of the home. The first of the themed 4 bunk bed suites is themed with Lilo and Stitch and connects to the 4th King bedroom with a full bathroom in between and sits in the middle portion of the upstairs area. The second themed 4 bunk bedroom is a Star Wars immersion like no other and will provide galaxies of memories for your children or grandchildren. It sits at the back of the house as does the 5th King bedroom and full bathroom. All the beds are of high quality and comfortable. There is plenty of space for families to gather while still having enough room for privacy when needed for every generation of your family. Let’s not forget one of the reasons you chose this location. Windsor Island Resort offers The Aloha Club, featuring a large sparkling resort pool, a children's splash park, a large hot tub and one of the longest lazy rivers inside an Orlando vacation rental community. The lazy river is also the exiting location for two water slides. The Clubhouse access is included and not an extra add on fee and includes a covered bar, rental cabanas, a 9-hole mini-golf course, a fire pit with expansive views as well as cornhole and a sand volleyball court. You could spend multiple days never leaving the resort as you play and relax in the sun at a location that is merely 3-4 minutes’ walk from Ohana Gathering House. We really only had one concern-how to open the slider to the pool-and it was resolved in less than five minutes. The house is spacious and very welcoming. We had 11 staying on the property, and it accommodated all of us beautifully. The Disney parks were all under 20 minutes away, there is a Publix supermarket minutes away, and other amenities in the immediate vicinity. The view from the back was breathtaking. The hot tub & pool were perfect for relaxing after a long day. We got to watch the fireworks while soaking in the warm waters! The heated pool was always at a comfortable 86, the hot tub 103\. The hot tub was so warm without the Jets, which was a huge plus!We’ve rented in Cape Coral and Davenport before, including resorts like Reunion and smaller ones. This house was the best we’ve ever stayed in. It was super convenient, right in the middle of everything, but still had a private feel.David sent us the activity calendar for the week, there were so many fun things to do for the whole family. We even did mini-golf, which was a blast. The kids loved the lazy river and pool & they had a great time at the clubhouse too. Some of the video games at the clubhouse weren’t working, that didn’t matter because there were so many other games & TVs to keep us entertained.The house was so comfortable and relaxing, with everything we needed. There were plenty of trash bags, laundry & dishwasher tabs, so we didn’t have to buy extra. Overall, it was an incredible experience!We loved the extras, step stool for the little ones, strollers, toy tables with building blocks, books, and games.David was super & quick to answer questions, which made our vacation great. We had 4 families ranging from ages 8 to 50 and the house was a perfect size. The layout allowed everyone to have their own space and we could gather as we wanted as well in the common areas. Maintenance came right away when we needed the pool clean (because of how loved the pool and spa were used during our time, no issues with it). Had one area that needed a little house keeping, but overall very clean.Word of advice the check in process was very long, so try to check in after 7 pm. We waited over an hour when we arrived around 5 pm, traffic was backed up on the road.When we left again around 7:30 traffic had cleared. Traffic overall in the area is a bit heavy, so just be prepared to check drive times before leaving. Again, overall perfect location and house to spend time with family and friends, would stay again, especially with knowing some of the quirks of the area ##### Jennifer T. We have been going for many years to various houses in the Orlando area with extended family. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. It had all the good kitchen tools, lots of towels, pool toys. The pool was warm. We had a lot of fun at the Windsor Island resort as well. This home is one of the best rentals I have been in. It is extremely clean, attractive, and comfortable. Our family really enjoyed the gameroom and pool. We had a big group of 15 ages 1-63\. This house was perfect, plenty of space for all the kids to hang out and for none of us to feel like we were on top of each other. The heated pool and grill were a great extra with this house. (We had a aunt and a cousin come over for a cookout one evening) When the baby was napping in the bedroom he slept right though all the running around and screaming of the other kids, the house was so big you could barely hear things in the next room. There were a few issues, but David was amazing about fixing right away. Andy the maintenance guy was awesome and went above and beyond. If you are looking for a place in the area close enough to Disney, but not in a resort this is perfect! It’s also not far from the beach, we spent a whole day down at cocoa. 10/10 recommend. Such a cozy wonderful place!!! It’s immaculately clean, fully equipped kitchen & accessories, furniture, large flat screen TVs in every room, game room, stroller and highchair for babies and a barbecue grill. We enjoyed the backyard with such a beautiful heated pool and spa! You can see the Disney fireworks 9pm every night. The most important thing – the owner is a phone call away, someone that really cares and will do anything to make your stay the best experience of your life! The Club house lazy river, the splash pad and water slides and miniature golf was also fun for the entire family. What a blessing to have stayed there. What better way to enjoy a vacation getaway is in a home away from home. Especially right next to vacation capital of the world. Our young grandkids kept saying that they don't want to leave. The most beautiful home we have ever stayed at. Every detail was very well thought out. We enjoyed everything about this beautiful home. The hospitality, communication from David, the fireworks, hot air balloons, and the amazing Chef David recommended. Chef Kegon and his wife made us a beautiful brunch in the house. Our kids enjoyed being in the pool, the game room, and we all enjoyed the beds. The beds made us all just want to sleep in all day. The Ohana house is perfect! We will be back soon! The owner of the home really pays attention to the small details. The kids absolutely loved making Mickey waffles every morning with the waffle iron. The house was very well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap in every bathroom, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry soap, and dishwasher pods. The pool was heated to the perfect temperature and was not an extra fee! The pool toys and accessories provided were so nice to have! The view of the hot air balloons every morning and MK fireworks at night was so cool. The owner David had excellent communication with us the entire time. Beautiful property, wonderful community clubhouse. The staff was friendly. The property was beautiful and tastefully decorated by owners. The owners are very responsive to questions and concerns. The clubhouse is amazing! All activities included in cost of stay and included basketball, miniature golf, the gameroom, community pool and lazy river. Communication with owner David was excellent he is very pro active. Remedied trash issue on the spot. Our 3 girls and 6 Grandkids all said it was best vacation ever. Séjour de 7 nuits en février 2022 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### pat h. 1 déc. 2021 Points forts : Propreté #### Beautiful house, responsive owner, wonderful amenity center We are just home from a 10 night stay at Ohana Gathering House in Windsor Island Resort. One word summarizes our experience – fabulous! For background, there was a maximum of 14 of us at the house for varying lengths of time. Age range from 3 years to 60+. This was our annual mulit-generational family trip and the house and resort did not disappoint. First I’ll talk about the house. The owner David was VERY RESPONSIVE. A main reason why I booked this home was because I had read reviews of David on another vacation rental property that he owned. The house is brand new (fall 2021) and beautifully decorated (not with cheap furniture). We have rented vacation homes throughout the US and this home is #1 – and David is the most responsive owner that we have ever rented from. If an issue arises, you are not dealing with a property management company that may or may not respond to your phone call/email/text. We had a few small issues that we texted David about and he addressed them in a timely manner. Pool heat and use of the grill are included in the rental cost which is nice. Pay attention to what is provided e.g. pool towels, laundry soap and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel etc. There were ample plates and flatwear for our group. The resort amenity center had opened about 2 weeks prior to our arrival. The place is beautiful and clean with friendly, helpful staff. In the aquatic area there was a lifeguard in the kiddie pool (which is not heated), a lifeguard by the big pool (heated), 2 lifeguards in the heated lazy river and 2 on water slide duty. The hot tub is large and hot. There are 2 firepits as well as sand volleyball, basketball and mini-golf. There is also a bar/grill where you can order drinks or some food. There was an attendant from the grill walking around taking orders poolside. Inside the amenity center is a state of the art work-out room and arcade room with games. The pool closed at dusk which was a little early. One negative about this resort community is the lack of available parking. When built out, we were told there would be 800 homes/townhomes. The homes range from 5-10 bedrooms. Each home has a driveway big enough for 2 cars. Most of these homes when rented will likely have at least 4 cars – and there isn’t room for 4 cars in the driveway. I saw cars parked on both sides of the street and on the grass. In summary, if you are looking for a place to stay in Central Florida –book this house! ##### pat h.
