Getting Around: Orlando is very car friendly. I recommend a car to get around to restaurants, shopping and other activities. Uber/Lyft are available and cheaper than parking fees at theme parks. Other Things to Note: IMPORTANT- THE SMALL PRINT: The brand new secondary pool area, the Isles Pool & Bar, is open (and is fantastic). Unlike a hotel, we do not have full time staff on location. Please note that you are staying in a private unit in a resort. We contract a cleaning company to service our property and supply a limited amount of paper product & consumables (e.g. a few rolls of toilet paper & kitchen towels, small soaps, etc) before your stay. We do not resupply these items during your stay and kindly ask that you supplement paper products & consumables for your needs. There is pharmacy & grocery store in walking distance for resupplies. Daily cleaning is not part of the nightly rate. Additional cleaning services, like a change of linens or towels, are available for a fee. The photos are of the actual unit, however, we change furniture, accessories, art work and small appliances when needed. Some of these items may look different than in the pictures in the listing. Guest must be at least 21 years of age by check in. The small closet in the third bedroom ( with the single beds) has been converted to a service closet and is inaccessible to guests. There are large closets in the other two main bedrooms. Our property features a temperature, humidity, and volume sensor located in the living room. This allows us to monitor the health of the air conditioning unit (temperature and humidity) and to prevent unauthorized parties. The device does not record sound (voice) or pictures. The air conditioning does not have a heater, however, we have extra blankets on demand for the 3 nights of cold weather per year. Please use appliances as they are intended to be used. We are not responsible for the loss of valuables or personal belongings of our guests. We are not responsible for the spoilage of food and beverages. We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. We are not liable for the closure of any amenity or denial of access of our guests. Please note all amenities are managed and operated by the Vista Cay Resort. This includes the pool areas, BBQ areas, gym, play room, and sports courts. The resort management may change the opening hours or close any or all amenities for any reason. The resort management may deny or remove guest access to amenities if their posted rules are not followed. Any disruption to the hours and/or availability of an amenity during a guest stay does not constitute valid reason for a refund. Interaction with Guests: I'm almost always available by email and phone, Debora will be available if I am not. I contract a local cleaning company and maintenance person that are available for emergencies. The front door can be opened with a key code - no more keeping track of keys. The property is great a real home away from, and hosts Joe and Debora are simply amazing. They really make it easy to feel right at home, and have really thought about their guests comfort and is reflected in the array of amenities available for use. They communicate consistently and have done a great job making their making all the amenties accessible. This centrally located property makes park hopping as well as shopping at the outlets easy and convenient. We would definitely stay there on all return visits! From the sectional sofa (with 3 reclining sections) to the outdoor fire pit (where we had coffee every morning) to the heated pool, this house is sure to be the place for your next stay. The sunrise over the cove was spectacular and the perfect way to start your day. The glass doors open all the way for wonderful indoor/outdoor living. ##### Joel S. I will say overall we were very pleased with our stay at this property. The owners were very communicative from the beginning and throughout our stay. We loved the proximity the property has to stores, restaurants and the Universal studios, we were visiting. The beds were comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were nicely sized. Our kids loved the PS4 gaming experience to complete the night as well. I enjoyed the balcony to start and end the days as well. Trash was picked up daily and there was ample well lit parking. Decent towels were provided and the property was cleaned before we arrived. A few improvements that I would like to suggest are adding condiments and the basic seasonings like salt and pepper to the pantry. Also the Teflon pots were very old and scratched up and should be replaced. Finally the fans in all the rooms haven't been dusted in quite a while and have a lot of dust caked up on them so an easy fix for the cleaning crew next go round. Easy check in and check out, and they had everything we needed including a pack and play which was so convenient. Of all the places I have rented, this has been by far the most comfortable.
