FAIR Low Budget Hotel

Posted 1-May-2017
Pros: price & location
Cons: a good pressure washing to the sidewalks
Location: it's i-Drive - if you like touristy things this is about as touristy as you can get - although the area needs an update
Older hotel, conveniently located on i-Drive for tourist based vacation. This side of town is looking a little long in the tooth and so is this hotel. It was clean enough and safe enough, however other guest seemed to like to talk late into the night in the halls each night. This is a no thrills hotel and the price is right for keeping the most of your money in your pocket. If you can afford a little more, a little nicer hotel would be a nice upgrade to your vacation.

On the strip

Posted 22-Apr-2017
I'm glad it was on the strip. I just feel like the hotel could have been better, and all these hidden fees. $8.62 a night plus the $100.00 cash deposit . I did reserve now , pay later option and they had already charged my card, I wanted to pay cash once I got there.

No bathroom door

Posted 20-Apr-2017
The staff was nice, and the room was super affordable. The maid cleaned every day, but this was mostly making the bed & taking out the trash, as I found hairs on our sink when I came back. They also never fully restocked the towels after the first night. Worst part was the lack of a bathroom door. No, I don't want a "partition" aka. curtain. I want a /door/. We were in a "refurbished room" so the shower had been updated but they couldn't put in a door. That and the dead roach on the floor pretty much sealed the deal. I'll pay more next time to be able to poop by myself.

M hotel - International Drive

Posted 11-Apr-2017
Pros: hotel staff, other than the managers
Cons: everything. cleanliness, roach problem, breakfast options
Location: location is nice and nearby a lot of attractions and restaurants
The manager working one of the nights were rude, though the other workers were nice. The rooms were unclean. We moved from our first room since it didn't have a bathroom door. Our second room had roaches.

Where to begin...

Posted 5-Apr-2017
The price was the only good part about this hotel, but that's because I booked it last March. I walk in, and the "bathroom" was partitioned off with sheets that only covered the shower and toilet. So when you went to the "bathroom" for any reason at all, you pretty much had no privacy. Second day being there, we came back from downtown Orlando around midnight, and the door was open; not unlocked, open. I went to the front desk to tell them their house keeping staff didn't close the door, the guy made a note; next morning when I talk to the supervisor, she had no idea I stopped by and complained the night before. Water didn't drain properly after showers, which leaked into the rest of the "bathroom" due to poor glass installation. They also make you put a 100$ cash deposit down when you check in, and make you wait for someone to 'check the room out' before you can properly check out. The beds were good though.

Trash Hotel in a trash city

Posted 4-Apr-2017
I think this place was a hidden gem in a bad way. They had the worst of everything possible. I'd never come back and I'd never recommend my worst enemy to stay here. Everything about the place was awful.

Extortion, Poor Customer Service, STAY AWAY

Posted 4-Apr-2017
Pros: Zero
Cons: Where to start, the customer experience, bathroom situation, plastic rails holding the beds which make them super squeaky, small bugs in the room, etc
First let me say these people suck. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with these people. Put a couple more bucks in and go somewhere where they'll appreciate you staying there and work with you in the slightest. The night shift manager could've been a real hero but instead choose to be a zero. After they cancelled my paid reservation and I re-booked my room at triple the price they want a cash deposit to hold the "new" room. After this fiasco I wasn't going to give anyone cash. I put the deposit on my credit card which lo and behold they hold the refund back for 30 days. Nice job guys. Real stellar hustle. I had a conversation with the night manager the next day about his experience so far in the US and I in turn held back from telling him the experience I had dealing with him made me want to turn him inside out. I also went to the lobby the next morning to get more towels. I read other reviews where people were over charged for towels so I definitively said that I wanted to see how many towels we were marked down for. On the way out of the lobby I walked behind two of the staff as they were leaving. They were laughing at my questions and didn't realize I was walking behind them. I took pictures of the room as we left it so nothing shady happens. If you've made it this far in the review you already know get a different place. Of all my travels during my life this is the worst customer experience I've ever had.
