Stunning, brand new (May 2021) 2 Bed, 2 bath Condo, overlooking water. Designer furnished. Resort Pool and Water Resort / Park, less than 15 Minutes to Disney's Magic Kingdom. Furnished to a high standard, stone kitchen and all-tile floors. 2 Well Appointed King Bedrooms. Master Suite with King Bed and en suite attached bathroom with large walk in shower and walk in wardrobe are VIP Guest Bedroom There is a separate bathroom with bath and shower over bath. The seating and dining area is level with the tranquil canals and this brings gorgeous reflections and a feeling of peace into this 5 star condo/suite. With outdoor seating, breakfasts in the sun and watching the birds on the water is all part of the experience here A short hop to Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Orange County Convention Center, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Premium Outlets, Restaurants and Dining. The community pool and facilities are as good as it gets in Orlando, Gym, heated pools, kids splash pad and play areas, lazy river and almost anything else you might want in Orlando. This condo is an ideal base for a family and children with a safety rail between the sun trap that is the lanai and the water inlet that you can sit out in front of. A couple's retreat in a premium space and the resort is often used by travelers looking to visit the nearby convention centre. Being on the ground floor with no step access, the space is easily accessible and is a great choice. The space \-Storey Lake is the perfect setting for building your family memories. World class resort amenities and comforts make the perfect retreat from the convenient access to nearby theme parks, shopping, dining and entertainment. Storey Lake’s amenities make it the premier destination in Orlando. Naturally, with a modern, high end resort property, a fully-equipped kitchen with appliances stone counter tops and all the appliances you might need for a resort stay. High-speed Internet Wi-Fi access of course and cable TV, linens and towels as well as a starter selection hotel style bathroom amenities to get you going on your self catered trip. Noteworthy but not exhaustive Entrance to Storey lake is secured by gate and guardhouse. The Hideaway - Clubhouse: There are no fees for clubhouse usage ( which includes fitness center, resort pool, hot tub, kiddie splash pad, half basketball court, sand volleyball, lazy river, tiki bar and ice cream shop!). Kayaking and mini-golf are available for a small charge. Some common questions answered about Storey Lake Resort! Are the pools heated year round? Absolutely! All pools and the lazy river are heated all year round! What are the pool hours? The pools open at 9 am and close at 9 pm daily. What are the minimum height restrictions for the waterslides? Riders must be at least 36 inches tall and only one rider at a time. Are there activities at the Resort? Yes and the activities change monthly! Does the Mini-Golf and Kayaking cost extra? Yes, mini-golf at the time of writing is $5/kids and $7/adults. Kayak rental is $15/30 mins or $20/hour. Sometimes there are specials too. What time does the Tiki Bar and Ice Cream Shop open/close? They open at 11 am and close 8 pm daily. What time does the Clubhouse open/close? 9 am – 9 pm daily. What time does the Fitness Center open/close? 5 am – 12 am daily. The occupancy limit for this property applies 24 hours a day and only occupants listed on the agreement may attend the home. All reservations require completion of an electronically signed rental agreement, agreeing to the conditions of the rental which includes that no parties are permitted at this home and the community operates quiet hours outside after 9PM ID is required to access the community. Guests are required to provide identification in the form of an ‘ID selfie', confirm the names and ages of all adults who will be attending the property, as well as completing a signed rental agreement’. This must be completed within 24 hours of placing the reservation or prior to arrival (which ever is the sooner’) Please note. We welcome seasoned primary bookers/travelers aged 25 and over and their young families in this truly amazing family home! Groups largely consisting of those close to or under 25 or living in the local area are not able to rent this home. A selfie ID is required to rent this home. If you cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, you will be eligible for a full refund. (the drive and I-4, not so much) This unit is beautiful and very comfortable. It was a nice place to unwind. The family room space and bedrooms were so comfortable and the bathrooms, just right. The complex is great although I find the "no outside food and drink" rule a little ridiculous. Especially, when ordering anything from the bar takes forever. We also had a few gnats in the room and I contacted the rental company during our stay and got no response. However, it is Florida in June so I can't say I was shocked. ##### Missy C. We had some unpleasantness during the first 2 nights of our 5-night stay. The temperature was preset and locked at 74 degrees and it was uncomfortably warm, especially overnight when we tried to get some much needed sleep. I contacted the property manager who dispatched an HVAC technician on day 2 who insisted that the system was functioning properly. But I had to follow up with the property manager a second time after our entire party endured a second sleepless night. On the third day of our 5-day stay the HVAC technician finally unlocked the thermostat so that we could lower the temperature setting to 72 and the place was finally livable and sleepable. That inconvenience aside, we truly enjoyed staying here. It was convenient to many of our planned destinations, very clean, relatively quiet, and well equipped. ##### Paul V. Very neat and clean inside the unit when you arrive. The management service providers were very courteous and things they can manage they did excellent job of taking care of. BUT, furniture in specific the two room beds and TV room sofas were not supportive, meaning they sagged. By the way after complaining about the two beds bottom squicking box structures they replaced them after repeated requests. But the top mattress were still sagging and not supportive. The patio sofa was broken and not usable. The guest room carpets got wet when they washed outside with power wash. The patio needs cleaning.
