Terrible place - AVOID
It was sold to us by Expedia as a 4-star hotel, when in fact, this is a 3-star hotel. When you pay for a 4-star you want a 4-star hotel.
There were several things that were not working, such as the elevator button light to our room (6th floor). The shower curtain does not stay on. There were stains on the couch. The furniture is beaten up. The refrigerator barely cools the drinks. In addition, housekeeping is only available by request, there is terrible humidity throughout the hotel and in our room, and there are no restaurants, no bar, and no lounge area. You really have nowhere to go (in the hotel) and nothing to do.
The hotel is under construction, with constant heavy machinery sound all over. There are no balconies, our view was of the I-4 highway, and the sound of the highway did not let me sleep through the night. It was like sleeping next to a race track. The pool is also by the highway.
Things we paid for with the hotel stay but got cheated on were "in-room" complimentary water bottles when in fact, there wasn't a single water bottle in the room. You had to get them from the front desk, and they only give you two per day, even if you have a family of four.
Breakfast was really disgusting. So much so, that even though it was included in our stay, we opted to eat out because the day before our daughter got sick from eating the stuff. It would appear that they buy everything expired, or about to expire and that is why it tastes so bad.
