Doubletree at Hilton at Orlando Airport - bedroom

Posted 21-Nov-2016
You may wish you hadnt asked - Room 228 - cupboards all scuffed and peeling. Skirting boards peeling - but worsed of all was the dripping tap we had to use soap under the shower trigger to stop the water dripping which worked for a while but woke me in the night & was quite annoying. We were next to the laundry room which could also be noisy, which was surprising as we had been told we had been upgraded. Also disappointed I couldn't collect my Hilton points as I had booked through Expedia & why I had booked the Hilton - so now at a Holiday Express.

Close to Airport

Posted 19-Nov-2016
Pros: Location. Lots of restaurants nearby.
Cons: Stop charging for parking.
The hotel is located five minutes from the airport. But the hotel itself is rather tired and austere. The stopper in the bathroom sink would not allow water to drain. Self parking is $12 per day.

Close to the airport

This hotel had plumbing issues in the toilet and shower. The walls were peeling. Overall experience in this hotel was horrible. Normal rate is $159.00 per night which is ridiculous considering this location is in need of a major upgrade. La Quinta Inn has a better looking hotel and updated rooms. The goods and services were not provided that are stated on their website.

Our hotel stay was canceled

Posted 17-Oct-2016
Location: The location was with in walking distance of restaurants so that was helpful. As well the drop off shuttle to the cruise port.
The staff did not have a solution to our cancelation to stay in a new room. They only refunded the money and me and my roomate were forced to sleep at her familys hotel rooms.

Cons: We self parked, and when we came to see the parking attendant after parking, he was rude in attitude and actions because we didn't stop by him first!
The hotel and location are both very good. Most of the staff were very helpful with the exception of the parking attendant. Having stayed here in the past, we were not aware of the change in the parking facility (charges for parking). We self parked and then stopped to see the parking attendant prior to checking in. He was very rude in his manner stressing that we needed to have stopped prior to parking. He gave the ticket to place in our car and insisted that we must go place it in the car immediately, even after we told him that we were merely checking in and had to leave immediately following. His attitude and manner were very demeaning and not appropriate or acceptable for your hotel.
