The area is sketchy, there were several things in the room that did not work and they did not fix it even though we reported them. There were sketchy people smoking pot in the parking lot.

We did not check in until almost midnight because we had a sporting event to attend otherwise we would have requested a refund and left. The hotel is completely disgusting and run down. In our room were two roaches. One in the bathtub and then another one on the ceiling near the bed. The bunk bed in the room has a cracked frame so it was not even safe for my son to sleep in. The ceiling had been poorly repaired and had a previously had a leak so it was drooping. There was filth on the walls and multiple places and the bathroom was also pretty disgusting. This place should be shut down for health violations. Ironically enough the maid came knocking at 9:00 in the morning which is pretty crappy too

Rooms are very out-dated, and didn’t seem very clean, but the beds were comfortable. Pool was very dirty so we didn’t swim. Breakfast was just ok. Staff was nice. For the price, it was fine. We only stayed one night.

We visited the hotel in March 2024. We were there for 7 nights. The pool was broken and hot tub motor needed to be changed. I was not happy! We reserved the hotel for those two important reasons. Breakfast was good. Would go back there again if pool and hot tub were fixed.

Staff was nice and friendly. We stayed in a renovated room, which looked very rushed, dusty and incomplete, but clean. Elevators and hallways need a good cleaning, but overall not bad for the pricing.

The pool and hot tub had been closed and under renovations for some time prior to our visit, which was over the March Break/spring break and this was not disclosed before or even after booking...it was only at check-in, when I asked about those main amenities, (especially for a hotel in Florida!) I was told they were closed and unavailable and had been for some time...funnily enough, when I mentioned this shouldve been disclosed to any guests, the next time I walked by the front desk, there was at least a sign informing people about it. I would've never booked this hotel knowing the pool and hot tub weren't available for guests to use during my visit. The hotel also needs renovations in the rooms, and especially the bathrooms. Would not recommend Comfort Inn Maingate in Kissimmee at all.

This property is currently being renovated, taking that into consideration it is okay, but not worth what I paid for my stay (3 nights). Here is my very unpleasant experience. The first night there was some construction, we called and they stoped (11pm, I had to call from my cell phone, the phone in the room did not work). The third night (Sunday night) someone came and knocked at 1am, claiming there was an unknown flood and they were going to move us to another room, they never moved us, we where told to call in when we got up to “check if it was ok to use the bath room”. In the morning we called (from our cell phone) explained what happened at 1am, we were told the manager was on the way to our room to check the bathroom. When she arrived to our room, her attitude was terrible, she started recording on her cell phone as she inspected the bathroom, she said “the bathroom is fine why did you even call the front desk” followed by “you are not getting a refund” she refused to give us her name, when she finally did she said it was “Christina” she told us to get the F**k Out, I have never dealt with such disrespect and unprofessionalism in a hotel or resort, I was not asking for a refund, I simply needed to know if it was ok to use the bathroom. My 2 minor children were present when this happened. In addition no one comes to clean the room or exchange towels, I had to buy pillows because the “pillows” provided are the size of decorative pillows. The a/c in the room is ok.

The room was infested with roaches. Not one, not two, not 5….. they were everywhere! Even on the bed. That was on the first floor. The front desk staff was really nice and accommodating. They moved us to the fifth floor where they had been renovating and it seemed all clear up there but after that experience I could barely sleep that night.

I hesitated on leaving a review because the staff was so nice and friendly. The cleaning staff needs to learn how to clean. I was on a floor that remodeling was going on so I was having to walk through all the dust from that and the 5 days I was there, they never swept my floor. I had to clean my bathroom counter off when I got there. The place is just old and needs more updating than what they are doing. My wing was done but my shower head was loose and so was faucet in the sink. The bed was not that comfortable. Breakfast was okay, nothing to get excited about. I was disappointed.

My daughter and I were unable to sleep due to reacting to the room. AC smelled scented. Pillowcases and sheets smelled like they weren’t changed. I emailed attendant and never responded so we went downstairs. Besides our reaction we also got very itchy. Maybe from the dirty bed. We were told they were booked, but they ende find another room down the hall. There were 3 elevators by the front desk. One smelled worse than the other 2. I will tell you our symptoms got a whole lot better once in the lobby and even better when we got fresh air. The 2nd room was ok. Unfortunately we rented from them because of the proximity to Celebration. We had to be in Celebration for a marathon today by 530am in order to pick up the race packet. Unfortunately because of everything we dealt with we barely slept. We are still feeling the side affects of the first room.

The room was so old and out dated and there was mold The staff was so unfriendly When we asked for extra blankets we were mocked and the lady at the front desk sarcastically told someone that we were freezing No one says you’re welcome or hi or anything My shower curtain was so old it was see through in certain areas from the fabric being so old and worn There was a sheriff two days in a row there was an abandoned room where you could see a pile of mattresses from the highway Awful awful awful don’t stay here Oh and pool was closed and we didn’t know this before we arrived

The rooms were awful and dirty. They did not clean on a regular basis. Never staying on this one again, awful experience.

This place is gross. Not only are the hotel rooms outdated, they’re filthy. The carpet look like they’ve never been cleaned. I opened the curtains and my hands were covered in what looked like black mold. I asked to move rooms and they moved us 4 rooms down and it was a lot of the same. Filthy floors, mildew showers, stained sofa cushions. It was so bad that we never took off our shoes. The bathroom counter had caked lipstick on it. There’s clear evidence that they simply don’t clean their units. We should’ve eaten the money and went elsewhere but our arrival was at 1am and our kids needed to sleep. Just don’t do it…unless you like cleaning your hotel room yourself. this place shouldn’t even be allowed on Expedia.

We stayed 9 days (12/27-1/5) & nobody even attempted to clean the room. Only once did someone actually come into the room to replace towels but they didn’t vaccum or make beds. We asked every night for towels & made them aware on 2-3 occasions the room hadn’t been cleaned.we were told it would be a full clean every 3rd day. Front desk girl who checked us in was not helpful. We requested a crib & she told us it would have to wait until the morning because she didn’t know if she had them. Another staff told her they had them & a gentleman dropped it off & helped set it up. When we asked the same lady for towels she told us her back was broke & she couldn’t help. Same gentleman as before grabbed them for us. Also there was a man pushing a walmart shopping cart (I’m guessing he was homeless) who walked up to the tables where people were eating & he started coughing & blowing his nose at the table where other guests were eating. He proceeded to get food at the breakfast bar without washing his hands. I asked the girl at the breakfast bar & she told me she didn’t speak English. I then told front desk about him was told he was maintenance. Later a different staff told me maintenance doesn’t push a shopping cart & he was in fact homeless. There was a few homeless people sleeping at the bus stops across the street. The rooms are very run down & the ceilings leaked. Very disappointed in this stay. We’ve stayed years ago & it was great. Not anymore though

Rooms were not cleaned and when we called to ask we were given attitude. The rooms had a weird smell. But the location is near the Disney parks.

Staff was great, breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh, rooms were clean and did not smell like cigarettes like most hotels which was great. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is because the bathrooms are outdated and small but they were clean!
