The neighborhood was not the best. The outdoor area smelled of marijuana the first 2 days and the last day of our stay. There were cars parked all over the streets. The microwave didn’t work when we arrived. I sent an e-mail and was told to make sure the door is completely closed on the microwave. Clearly that wasn’t the problem. The smoke detector batteries were low, so it started chirping before 1am on our last morning there. We don’t travel with extra 5V batteries, and there weren’t any at the home, so after about 3 hours of listening to it we got up and went to the airport. The a/c downstairs automatically resets to 78\*, which is entirely too hot to sleep. We could not sleep through the night each night because it was so warm in the downstairs bedroom. The hot water is set way too cold. We never had anything above a lukewarm shower the whole week. Maybe charge more to rent the house so the air can be colder and the water can be warmer. The garage parking was nice. With so many people parked in the streets, I liked getting the car out of the driveway at night. We wouldn’t choose to stay here again, ##### Michelle W.
