Upon arrival the code in the email didnt work. Called guest services and for hunged up The second customer rep (Amelia) was surprisely helpful. We were provides a new code. It took several attempts due to the button 5 was not working properly. Finally, for in and it felt like the sahara desert, hot. Called guest services a few times and finally 2 non speaking english gentleman came. It was easy to translate with them by using their translator app. Finally got some coolness. Next we had to deal with the small ants in bed, bathroom and basically everywhere. The gameroom was nice but you can yell wasnt vacuumed. The place seemed like it was locked up for weeks but could be wrong. We had to buy ice to keep beverages cool, only the freezer part worked. I gave a 2 overall due to the lack of accuracy and sleeping with the ants.

No follow up

As a floridian going coming to Orlando for a weekend is always a great idea. Unfortunately my experience with my stay was unbelievable. We arrived to the home approximately 9:45pm. We noticed trash bags outside thinking they forgot to pick up the trash. We proceeded to enter the home where we found it to be uncleaned. Trash and unbelievably things were found in the home still. Need to say the least I was in total disgust. We began to look for someone because the home look as if someone began the cleaning. After finding no one I called the office which was already closed and was told someone would call me back. After calling 3 times explaining the urgency, we noticed a car pull up and a woman begins to approach. As she ask us if we need help I than receive a call from Rory. Now the time is about 11:30 pm. As they are both talking we realize this is the house cleaner and she didn’t realize we were checking in tonight. Now Rory the on call manager is extremely rude, annoyed and unhelpful. She simply told me it was nothing they could do. We had to wait for the house cleaner to clean. It’s now going on midnight. I explained we been out all day and wanted to go to bed. I have a 1 year old and an infant we don’t want to wait for her to clean. We have a 5 bedroom 3 bath home and to clean it takes me hours. This wasn’t a 15 20 minute wait. She told me it was nothing on top of nothing that could be done. So as a family of 14 half of our party decide to look for somewhere else. And of course it’s after midnight so we had no choice but to wait. The house cleaner was extremely apologetic she even began to cry when she had the babies crying. We are human and make mistakes. So I really hate this happen to her. But as a company this is by far the worst experience I have had. No tissue or paper towels were in the home. No one came after I called. A young lady called me the morning after apologizing and basically saying it was nothing she could do. But wait until Monday. Today makes it two weeks. Still no phone call or follow up. STAY FAR AWAY! I am definitely on top of this though. This wasn’t fair to us at all.

Great floorplan for a crowd

The floorplan is fantastic for a crowd, and the two living rooms were great. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is gorgeous and supplied with basic cookware, but only one potholder. We noticed a few small maintenance issues (glass on inside of oven door was broken, a missing curtain rod, gas grill wouldn't light, a few wall dings on the staircase, a loose TP holder in one bathroom), but nothing that interfered with our stay. The main improvement we would suggest is more towels; bath towels are supplied, but we never found hand towels, dish towels, or wash cloths. Also, some bathrooms didn't have any soap, but we had brought our own anyway. The location is close to the Disney parks (30 minute drive in heavy traffic), but the neighborhood is a bit cramped. If anyone is in the pool on either side, you'll hear every word they say. Most driveways can fit 2 cars single-file, but it's tight; I don't know if 2 minivans would fit. This leads to lots of street parking since many houses have 3 or 4 vehicles; the street becomes single-lane when cars are parked on both sides. Champions Gate is enormous, and the traffic getting out of the complex could be very slow. The pool was outstanding, and we enjoyed it and the hot tub most nights. Again, if your neighbors are in their pools, they're pretty close, but we didn't have any problems. The poolside table is nicely positioned in an alcove that lets you get out of the sun/rain and still enjoy the fresh air; it also shields you from the view of neighbors on either side (not the neighbors to the back of the house). So, this house is perfect if you have 8-10 people arriving in just 2 cars, but bring your own bath soap, dish soap, laundry and dishwasher detergent, potholders, dish scrubber, hand towels, wash cloths, and facial tissue.

Update Maintenance

Toilets kept clogging. Walls extremely dirty. Blinds needs to be replaced. Couch needs to be thrown in garbage. The housekeeping was poorly done. It was dirty. However the home is beautiful just needs to replace all broken items and re paint the walls but we had a good time in the home.

We had a great spring vacation staying in this 6 bedroom home. Plenty of space for the kids and adults, wonderful location close to the parks. Would definitely stay again!
