When arriving at the property, we found the exterior of the building was being painted, so it was roped off with caution tape and the door locks and handles all taped up. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to have been given a heads up that this would be the situation when we arrived. There was supposed to be WIFI in the condo, but it was not working. Called the owner the first day and was told that he would check into it. After a 7 day stay, it was never fixed. The garbage disposal didn't work, and when looking under the sink, found that there was a leak. Obviously, someone was aware of it, as there was a bowl sitting under the sink to catch the water. We had to empty the bowl each time we used the kitchen sink. Seriously?? Spend $100 and replace the garbage disposal. It was disgusting. There must have been a leak at some point around the AC / Heating unit, as there was mold around the baseboard outside the unit. The overall cleanliness of the unit was just average. The condo is conveniently located to the Disney parks. About a 10 -15 minute drive. Also near several restaurants and Target, Walmart. ##### Merrill R. Walking distance to chain-restaurant and fast food, grocery, pharmacy and cheap t-shirt/ beach/ souvenir places. Walmart within 5 min drive. Gated community ensures security and unit faces very quiet and peaceful lake with a huge screened-in balcony to enjoy it from. Very, very pleasant after long days of assault to the senses. Unit is well stocked with linens and towels and our bed was quite comfortable; a little on the hard side and pillows quite flat. Kitchen adequately stocked with glasses and dishes and pots and pans for families however, toaster and coffee maker are the only small appliances available. Bring your blender for morning smoothies and evening margaritas. We bought a single-use blender for $10 at Walmart. Bring your own spices/oils/ etc. if you plan to cook, as is normal for vacation rentals. Washer and dryer proved efficient & soap provided for two loads (bring your own and use the one provided to do the final wash of towels and linens). Bathrooms each have hair dryer and one new roll of toilet paper and kitchen has one paper towel roll to start. We bring our own dish soap instead of dishwasher. We didn’t make use of the pool and exercise room but they looked very clean and never heavily used. Other than some burnt out light bulbs (check that light is even plugged in first), and some difficulty with fridge making ice (we used the provided ice cube trays), everything was operational and as advertised. We did have one WiFi issue which we reported to the owner but, managed to resolve it easily ourselves (we work in high tech and recognized a reboot of the router was all it needed). As a quiet, conscious couple in our 50s, staying in the unit during low season, we were never bothered by neighbour noises or by the new construction adjacent to the community. But...The walls are thin and the glass doors and windows are single pane and we can imagine there would be some impact to peace and solitude during busier times when all the units are occupied. It helps when everyone is conscious of the thin walls, especially the early morning families and late night tv watchers. The owner is very quick to respond to all communications (phone and email), and has been very helpful and accommodating to any and all requests or concerns. We would definitely reserve this unit again and would not hesitate to recommend ##### Kristin J. We just returned from a week at Disney and stayed at this condo. I don’t usually leave complaints but I feel like I need to for this one. Here are some things that will prevent us from renting here again. - No beach towels provided. Remember, we are at Disney with many water parks and the condo has a pool. - Only 6 bath towels in the entire condo. - Had to buy own shower curtain because the one there was all moldy - gross - Half a roll of Toilet paper. Again, this would be fine if we had been told so we knew to buy some when we went to the store. - No measuring cups - kitchen very bare. Again, we didn’t cook a lot and we weren’t there much but some people are and they need the kitchen stocked. - Nasty, dirty carpet. We needed to wear shoes at all times. One time my son didn’t and his feet turned black - Broken garbage disposal - sent text to owner but he never responded. We didn’t cook much there but still .... - front door does not lock correctly. It’s fine when we were there and could lock the deadbolt from inside but it wasn’t nice to leave for the parks for the day and know that your condo door wasn’t secured. Again, I realize this is a condo. I know the difference between a hotel and condo and know sometimes you need to provide your own paper supplies but it would be nice if they told you ahead of time. The good thing about this condo is the location. Very convenient to all of the parks. ##### Shelly C. Séjour de 7 nuits en mars 2018 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Amanda K. 16 juill. 2017 #### Clean and comfortable This was a pleasant stay. The place was clean and comfortable. It was an easy to find location and was relatively quiet. We heard our neighbors a few times but nothing bothersome. This is a condo on the second floor of a building and I don't think there's elevators. Convenient to the parks and lots of good food options. The pots and pans were nice and there were even kid dishes and a toaster. Otherwise the kitchen is pretty bare so you'll have to buy oil, butter, salt and pepper if you intend to cook. There was plenty of extra blankets although a light on towels so we had to a load of towels as well as our clothing after the third straight day of pouring rain. They only left one packet of detergent so we had to buy more to wash the towels again when we left. Luckily the store is literally next to the complex so that was also convenient. Overall a pleasant stay in an apartment style life. Since we went to Disney every day, we did not get to use the pool or other amenities so couldn't say how nice they were but they looked fairly standard from the outside. ##### Amanda K. Clean & quiet We loved everything.. the house was clean. The furniture was great. Kitchen was fully equipt. It was close to everything. Minutes to Disney and all the restaurants in walking distance..
