Séjour de 4 nuits en août 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Autumn H. 28 févr. 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Good stay, concerned about gas We were concerned as we were traveling here because the address was not showing up as an option on our maps. It took a bit to get in touch with the host, but we got things sorted out. It was a nice, clean stay. We felt like it worked perfectly for the purposes of our trip. My only dislike was the gas stove. It just makes the whole house smell like gas when it’s on. And then one night I smelled gas from the laundry room and suspected a gas leak since no appliances were in use, so it didn’t make sense to be smelling gas. I was pretty worried about it (I’ve dealt with this in my own home), so I contacted the property manager. They tried getting the gas company to come out. They had 24 hours to come out and never did. We’re out of the house so I don’t have to be concerned about our safety anymore, but I had really wanted it checked out even for future guests’ safety. I have a nose very sensitive to leaks and most people can’t smell the leak, but I can. I would highly recommend doing some research before booking to ensure it’s been checked for a gas leak. ##### Autumn H. When we arrived, we discovered a broken oven, lights that don't work, no shades on windows, lots of ants and cockroaches. We complained and got the worse customer service I've ever experienced. The host is disconnected from the property and service, and is impossible to reach. Even VRBO couldn't reach him and the numbers they called went to Europe and non-english speaking people. Eventually, we got through to someone and they promised us a full refund (in writing) if we left the property. We did this, and booked a new place. DVG then refused to give the credit. I escalated to VRBO support and legal and they tried helping, but the host kept telling them he would refund the money but did not do so. VRBO immediately refunded their part of the fee due to the experience and pictures I sent them, but the host refused to and then went radio silent. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company who then researched everything and gave me the refund.This is a total scam and I hope no one has to deal with the two months of stress this has caused me. I'll be escalating further to the city of Orlando and others so they can deal with this scam artist. ##### Jason K. Hurricane hit the day we were to check in. I reached out 4 days before check in to try to cancel with no response. I called 2 days before check in to VRBO to try to reach host. They said since there was no ‘mandatory’ evacuation yet then there was nothing they could do. The following day the airport closed, hurricane hit, no power at home on day 1\. Finally able to fly in on day 2 , arrived at midnight & couldn’t get into home. Finally got host & got inside. Every time you leave the unit the thermostat auto sets to 82\. After a long day at Disney nothing like coming in to a hot house ##### Phillip G.
