Love the retro hipster vibe of the hotel and the obwr all comfort vibe it holds and with the people! Location is fabulous for waking everywhere you want to go and all the shops and dining!

What can I say?!? It’s great! Very affordable, very clean, perfect location in a really freaking amazing town!! I stayed over for a Neko Case concert at the Liberty Theater, and this was the perfect hotel pick. Across the street from one of the best breweries and restaurants in the entire country, easy walking to the historic downtown shops, blocks from the mighty Columbia River. Astoria is one of those towns that gets in your blood, and the Norblad is a really cool spot to sleep over. They loan records and turntables!! Comfy community space, warm staff, and a very respect-centric kitchen space. I will definitely stay here again, bringing a tote full of vinyl!

Very friendly staff. Feels a bit like a more private hostel. More noisy, than I was hoping for, but not ridiculously so. Would definitely stay again.
