This is a stopover heading up 101 North. We have a dog and the property's policies on dogs is very fair. Room was fine, big bed..

the bathroom had been updated and was nice and roomy. It had a high window which allowed for some fresh air too, not just a fan. Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, which was just right for an overnight stay while on the road. Parking was very easy and roomy. staff was super helpful as I wasn't sure I would be checking in early or quite late. Very nice people at the desk.

We arrived checked in immediately after entering room we found the bathroom sink would not drain. Room was rustic but ok. Instead of waiting for a maintenance person we requested a different room. We asked if perhaps there was a view room available. It would be an extra $25 even though we paid more than our friends that did have an ocean view room. When we brought that up we were told they had no control over the prices on Expedia and that was our only option was we could have a standard room. We took the standard room dirty, furniture dirty, bedding coverlet dirty, parking area had no lights, got bug bites. Horrible. I should mention the place was empty. What should have happened was an apology for having to move rooms and a room as requested. We will not return, although we frequently travel through gold beach.

The only reason the staff seemed to be around you was because you were smoking near the entrance to the building causing health concerns for other guests and staff.

We experience a very joyful two days staying at the lodges would definitely recommend friends and come check them out. Morning buffet very good it was biscuits gravy yogurt bread and bagels delicious

Old, smelly, cracked floor tiles in bathroom, filthy carpets. On Expedia we saw pictures of a nice clean renovated updated room. When we got our room it was a crappy old cabin style absolutely horrible. It’s a bait and switch deal, don’t do it.

Our hotel room was infested with sugar ants. We had pizza the night before & when we woke up in the morning the entire pizza box, counter & walls were COVERED in ants. Plug in bathtub was broken. Don’t let the picture of the hot tub fool you it was filthy & the water wasn’t even warm at all. Would not stay again.

This just a con game in order for the property to rent tgeir crappy, dirty, sticking units on an ajoining property. AVOID AT ANY COST! The pit they put us in would have been over priced at $50! For the same $138 that they overcharged us, we were able, on a moments notice, to secure a beautiful condo between the ocean and the breakwater on the ocean. Buyer beware! This is a scam and a racket!

The room looks like a shack.The door leaks, so the carpet is soaking wet by the entrance. The internet doesn’t work. They charged me an additional fee for my dog even though this was rented as a pet friendly rental.

We really enjoyed our little cabin and the property (ease of walking our dog and getting to the beach). The property overall is run down. It could use some TLC.

The room was recently renovated and was clean and everything worked. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The beach access was easy & the hot-tubs were a nice bonus.

The property is nice, there is a portion that has been updated and a portion that has some updating. It’s a good value, the breakfast is good but I was hoping there might be a waffle maker. The spa/hot tub is nice and the beach access is good.
