We found this amazing spot last minute for the holiday and couldn’t have been more pleased! The host was wonderful—very responsive and genuinely hospitable. The house itself is tucked away from the road, surrounded by beautiful trees and overlooking a serene private lake. It was the perfect place to unwind.It was just my husband and me at first, and his sister and her husband joined us the second night. We all had such a relaxing time. One of our favorite parts was sitting on the balcony, watching the fish and turtles come up to a little feeder by the water’s edge—so peaceful.We wrapped up our stay with a fun fireworks show that made the weekend even more memorable.
