Stayed 4 days for work and this hotel was great! Courteous staff, well stocked convenient store, great indoor restaurants, nice outdoor patio, comfy room, great water pressure in the shower, and a coffee/breakfast spot just before you exit.

Property itself was fine but watch for hidden fees. Parking is outrageous and no in and out privileges don’t can get extremely expensive!

Pros: comfortable bed, very friendly staff. Cons: *very* expensive dining options that were just average, unresponsive to requests that a lamp be fixed, had to call multiple times to ask for fresh towels, door to faux balcony didn’t open or close all the way and once they “fixed it,” it wouldn’t open at all. Unannounced “resort fees,” (it’s not a resort), unannounced early check-in fees (where else am I supposed to go when the plane lands? Overall, I found the place annoying. And I’m pretty easy going.

Great place to stay. We had an early morning flight and the hotel is right across the street from John Wayne Airport. The shuttle was great and the hotel was very nice.

Overall it was a really stay and very high quality. You can't beat the close proximity to John Wayne Airport and the free shuttle service. The only downside for me was the body lotion dispenser in the bathroom was empty and the neighboring guests doors would slam shut and wake me up.

Fine until AM shuttle. Asked where shuttle was told will arrive in 11 min. Can see it parked in lot. I wait right inside w/in eye shot. No bus pulls up. 5” I ask was told next 30”. Too long for details. Staff was smug and doing the eye talking to each other like I’m the Karen. Not professional. Bad feeling. Ruined experience.

This hotel needs some serious cleaning to do. Update your furniture too and the restrooms. Not happy about this stay I felt like I was in a cheap motel room.

Favorite Hotel Tournament venue
This was the second time I've stayed at this hotel for an on-site chess tournament (roughly 400 players). Incredibly helpful, pleasant and accommodating staff, particularly at the front desk. I spent nearly all my time at the hotel. This type of event can be a bit trying for a hotel's staff and yet you'd never know it from the way everyone I encountered was acting including those in housekeeping, security, coffee kiosk, shuttle drivers, restaurant and as mentioned previously, the front desk.

It was a family trip. I love to stay at this hotel whenever i come to Irvine. The only item was a bit inconvenient that they don't put any laundry bags in the room. I would stay here again.

Overall good stay
Overall good stay. Did not use any of the amenities other than having a drink at the bar. Breakfast buffet was being upgraded so food was ala carte and not included in the price. Parking also was not included and was pretty steep at 42.00 per night. The area is close to the airport, freeway, and 15 minutes from the beaches and shopping. It’s a good deal for the price minus the parking charges. The room was nothing special but clean. The property could use a facelift. All said, it’s a good deal for that area.
