Excellent staff, very clean, close to Disneyland.

Posted 20-Jul-2016
Pros: I especially liked the cleanliness.
Cons: A coffee bar in the lobby.
Location: We enjoyed Disneyland and California Adventure, we enjoyed nearby restaurants and convenient markets, as well as Universal Studios.
The hotel was clean, the employees at the desk and at Guest Services were very polite and helped us with all of our needs during our stay. We had dinner once at the hotel and the food was great and the service was excellent. Everyone was kind and went out of their way to make us feel at home and help us navigate the area. The staff called a taxi for us, supplied shuttle information and tickets to the shuttle at the corner of their property, they arranged shuttle service and ticket reservations for Universal Studios, and they had prompt and polite room service.

Clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's important to know that there is a $18 fee for parking daily.

The rooms were larger than what I expected from a double tree. We had plenty of room left with two beds and a huge bathroom. I will definitely be coming back. The decor looked brand new, like it had been recently renovated.

Simply Beautiful

Posted 18-Jul-2016
We enjoyed our stay! The hotel is beautiful and clean. We had a standard room and it was very spacious. The only down side was the front desk staff. She wasnt as friendly as we would have preferred. Her niceness was not genuine, and the next morning check out was at 11am and we requested a late check out for 11:30am literally 30 min additional and the same desk staff told us that she was unable to accomodate our late check out request due to the hotel being sold out. We felt that she was just being difficult. However the breakfast hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The only reason we did not give a 5 was because of the desk staff.

Beautiful hotel close enough to Disneyland

Posted 14-Jul-2016
Hotel was beautiful, clean, and close enough to Disneyland. It is about 2.5 blocks away from the parks. I stayed in the 1 Queen Bedroom which included a closet, safe, iron board and iron, 2 extra pillows, hair dryer, microwave, small refrigerator, and desk. Parking is $18 a night. ART shuttle ticket is $5 per person for unlimited trips to and from the park. I have no complaints about this hotel and I would recommend it to a friend. This will be my go to hotel when visiting Disneyland.

Nice hotel close enough to Disneyland

Posted 14-Jul-2016
Hotel is beautiful, well maintained and clean. Close enough to Disneyland but far enough to get a good night's rest after a long day at the parks. ART shuttle ticket is $5 per person for unlimited trips to and from the park and hotel. Parking is a bit steep at $18 a night! There's a Starbucks located inside the lobby and a restaurant as well. There is also a $50 deposit (hold) on your credit card each day of your stay for incidentals. It is refunded/removed at the conclusion of your stay though. This is one of the better hotels I've stayed at when visiting Disneyland. What you see in the pictures is what you get at DoubleTree. And you cannot say the same thing for many other hotels around that area.

Wonderful, relaxing experience at the hotel.

Posted 13-Jul-2016
Pros: We have stayed at other DoubleTree Suites Hotels and were not disappointed with this one. It was one of the best.
Cons: Better tasting drinking water in the restaurant. We know California water is not the best tasting water, at least for all we travelers. Filtered?
Location: Disneyland was our destination for our stay, so we did not explore the surrounding areas, other than traveling to and from Disneyland via the shuttle.
We arrived exhausted from a long delayed flight. From the moment we arrived we experienced a wonderful staff of people, eager to serve and meet any needs we might have. The dining experience was excellent in the hotel. It says it is an Italian Restaurant, however don't be fooled. They offer a full breakfast menu, a full optional breakfast buffet, a wonderful broad lunch menu - with a killer hamburger that will I was not expecting, as I normally am not a hamburger sort of person). It was to die for good, with thin, fresh cut fries, dusted with a fine freshly grated parmesan cheese that made them literally addictive to eat ) No kidding! Dinners were 5 star, excellent fresh pastas, and other choices on their menu, all delicious. Any request was not too big. We highly recommend eating at the hotel. If you are in a hurry, the morning breakfast buffet was excellent. Everyone we encountered during our stay, was a 5 star professional. Our room was very nice, beds were very comfortable, and well appointed. We would highly recommend staying there. It is a short shuttle ride to Disneyland, (maybe a mile or two, and worth the extra few minutes, (maybe 10 minutes), for a continual shuttle service, (if you don't need a rental car). With the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel, along with attention to details that were clearly apparent, an in-house small Starbucks, too. Should we visit Disneyland again, we will definitely stay at this hotel.

Great Hotel close to all the major attractions

Posted 8-Jul-2016
Pros: It's a beautiful facility, super close to Disneyland and California Adventure. Everyone is super nice and helpful.
Location: Disneyland, California Adventure, Huntington Beach, Knott's Berry Farm, The Outlets at Orange are all near by.
Everyone was very Courteous and pleasant. Even when we found a huge roach on the sofa, they immediately took charge and changed our room with no problem.

great location for a trip to Disney

Posted 5-Jul-2016
Pros: Bathrooms were very bright and clean. we needed an extra pillow and it was delivered almost by the time I hung up the phone.
Location: Disneyland was a 15 minute walk but the shuttle was easy to catch. Lots of places to eat nearby as well as a 10 minute drive to Angels stadium which
Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Hotel was in a great location for Disney and Anaheim attractions.
