Grab your swimsuit, tubes, and sunscreen and head down to Orange Beach for the ultimate Alabama getaway! Located 5 miles from the soft white sand, this vacation rental condo offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and accommodations for 4. Whether you're seeking natural beauty, live entertainment, or artistic flair, you're sure to find it all when you stay at The Wharf PH1118!

Up to 4 guests can spend wonderful days exploring all that our island has to offer before returning to this 1,325 square feet condo to relax on the patio that overlooks the intracoastal waterway and marina! Inside, you will find cozy accommodations for resting up after each day. The master bedroom is fitted with a comfortable king bed, floor to ceiling windows that offer access to the patio, and a private bathroom with a tiled shower and oversized tub. Down the hall, you will find a guest bedroom with a Queen-sized bed as well as a guest bathroom with a walk-in shower. All bedrooms have a flat-screen TV and satellite as well!

When it's time to cook, head to the fully equipped kitchen to make something delicious and feel free to chat over the bar with the rest of your group as they lounge around in the living room. Do you love coffee? Drip-style coffee maker and Keurig, both are provided. The dining area has a table with 6 chairs and the bar has 4 barstools, providing plenty of space for everyone to gather around and enjoy. In the living room, a flat screen TV with satellite, as well as free Wi-Fi will keep you entertained while you relax inside.

Whether you're looking to relax or seek adventure on your vacation, location is everything and this location allows you to create any kind of experience you would like! The amenities located inside the Wharf Entertainment district are nearly endless! Lounge around at The Oasis, soak in the hot tub, or dine at the variety of restaurants after you finish walking through all the shops featured on Main Street. Check out the Marina, movies at the theatre, amphitheater concerts, fun games like laser tag, ride the ferris wheel and enjoy the nightly light and sound show! For more adventure, try ziplining and enjoy the beautiful view! Everyone is sure to find something they enjoy with all The Wharf has to offer.

Outside of the Resort, only a few minutes separate you from the beautiful sandy beaches of Orange Beach. Along Perdido Beach Boulevard, numerous dining destinations are available, as well as souvenir shops, clothing boutiques, and family-friendly entertainment. Just a quick trip down Canal Rd will take you to Gulf Shores, as well. When the sun goes down, enjoy the night life with fresh drinks and live entertainment at several venues along the beach in either city. You are literally minutes from every activity the island has to offer whether it's sport fishing on the Gulf, reading a book on the beach, parasailing, hiking the Backcountry Trails, or trying your hand at glass blowing or pottery throwing at the waterfront Coastal Arts Center!

* RENTAL AGREEMENT: Rental Agreement Must Be Signed to Receive Check-In Information

* AGE RESTRICTION: Policy strictly enforced 25 years or older with renter 25 years old staying in unit. No refunds for anyone trying to rent that is not at least 25 years old.

* PARKING: Two (2) reserved parking spots in the parking garage. Additional vehicles can park anywhere else on property on a first come first serve basis. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

* WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: While all Sands of Alabama rental units are set up for normal housekeeping, the properties will NOT have cleaning products or toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and soaps intended to last for the duration of your stay. Each rental property is furnished with a STARTER SET of paper products for your first night. This set includes one roll of paper towels, a small bottle of liquid dish soap, one powder dishwashing packet, one can liner per trash can, one travel size hand soap and body soap per bathroom and one roll of bathroom tissue in each bathroom. Please bring extras.

Relaxing family stay

A GREAT stay. We gave 3 kids aged four and under. The Wharf was the perfect location for us. We were surprised at the lack of people in the whole Wharf area. No crowds which meant no waiting for an elevator. No waiting for a table for dinner. No traffic. Great!! The condo was beautiful and spacious. The master bed is memory foam which I loved but my husband thought was too firm. The porch is Amazing with such great sunset views and boat watching! Plenty of seating, too!The pool is 1/2 mile from the condo which was kind of annoying, especially because the tram was broken. We drove down each day and there was plenty of parking. The WORST thing about the whole trip was the fact you can’t take any of your own food or drinks to the pool. No coolers. No sandwich for lunch. Nothing other than baby food. And yes, they check! Very very annoying. Also, the pool has basically no shade. A few small umbrellas around at picnic tables and some umbrellas at the wave pool. I’m shocked they don’t have more shade. Also, the bathroom facility is not directly next to the pool and is way too far away. Especially for little kids. The street below the condo comes to life at night with music in the streets, dancing, laser/music shows, face painting, etc. Even still, there was no crowd and we felt like we were the only ones out there at times. The Ferris wheel at sunset was so fun! The train wasn’t working while we were there but our kids would’ve loved that. Overall, a really great time.

The property was very clean. Kitchen cabinets and appliances nice. Ice maker hard to access where located. Bathrooms seem a little "tired." Very little hot water available in master bath - turned all the way up and not hot enough. Master bed hard to get into - very high. Would benefit from a ceiling fan outside, like some other units. Dining room table chairs very uncomfortable - wicker/straw chairs without cushions. Location great - nice views of the marina and intracoastal.

If you ever go to a concert at the wharf, this is a great place to stay. Not only is it within walking distance to the wharf, you have the oasis and we absolutely love staying here.

Beds and furniture are awful and worn. By the end of our trip my husband had to sleep on the couch because the master bedroom bed was awful. It had a large hole and needs to be changed out. I slept with my daughter in the other bed and it was awful as well. The furnishing need to be changed out due to being worn and they have stains on them. The location was great but condo is awful.

The Wharf is Great! This unit is OK

The Wharf is a great property. Lots to do as opposed to a beach condo that is a one trick pony. The Oasis pool and lazy river is awesome as were the restaurants we tried (more on that later) PH1118 is NOT the top floor as Penthouse would imply. There could be guests above you. The building is QUIET as we had worried about traffic noise, but this unit had little and is high enough up. The unit AC is great and all was cool and comfortable. We had a few minor issues 1) The fridge smelled like dead shrimp. You had to hold your breath when you open it and your water bottle would smell like shrimp. Ana send a person to clean it that same day, but the next day the smell returned full strength despite a good cleaning and placing baking soda in the fridge and then ground coffee. 2) The unit does not have a blender. In 25 years of renting condos from Gulf Shores to Destin we have NEVER had a unit without a blender. Easy fix, we bought one. 3) The master bed sheets were as thin and transparent as they could get without them disintegrating. The owner/mgmt needs to be more proactive and not let guest reviews dictate when to fix things. Ginny Lane, Villagio had great food as we had full meals there. Yo Ho Rum and Taco had great drinks and appitizers. Drinks at San Bar on the deck were good too. The Southern Grind was perfect on their latte. For the beach - Coastal is always perfect even if it is crowded. It is the best beach restaurant view around.

Perfect getaway!

This was a quick weekend getaway for me and my husband. The condo was gorgeous! Every room was well appointed with great attention to detail. The kitchen was spectacular with Viking appliances and the balcony was expansive! We will book this exact condo in the future!

Place could be cleaned better , couch was covered in stains , needs cleaning, had to put blanket over it . Barbecue pit is also in need of cleaning, very dirty was not going to spend my time and money for chemicals cleaning so we were unable to use it , nice place if cleaned properly

Baseball Tournament Perfect Location

We were in town for a baseball tournament and the whole team wanted to be at the same complex. This location was great for offering everyone an option that fit their family while also having dining and entertaining options within steps of the door. It was nice to have a kitchen with all the necessities for cooking dinner, then enjoying the view from the balcony while eating. The size was perfect for us. While the overall cleanliness of the condo was good, there were some deep cleaning things that needed to take place. Overall we enjoyed our stayed!

Great location, but not a true penthouse.

Great location, but it’s not a true penthouse since there is another unit above it. The Wharf actually calls several lower levels penthouses as well, so we were a bit disappointed not being on the top floor. It’s next to the toll bridge, so there’s a lot of traffic noise all day long. The balcony has a great view, but the balcony needs a good cleaning, and appears not o have been cleaned for a long time. We don’t smoke, so the cigarette butts and ash was not from us. It also has several stained areas that we tried to avoid walking in since they reminded us of unpleasant events. The wine cooler doesn’t work but the coffee maker does work. The place is worn and needs new paint. The cleaning crew needs to vacuum next to the floor boards. We had to find light bulbs to replace the lights over the vanities so we could see using the mirrors in the master bathroom which also has a funky faucet that takes a while to get used to. The bed sheets were clean but the mattress is worn and has a “hole” in the middle that can suck you in. I rated this 3 stars since it’s at the Wharf with all the amenities. With some work and maintenance, this place could be 5 stars. ‘
